"Krarkashima make a lot of Krark. Big storm. Win game."
March of Swirling is so good. We play it in casual games with my playgroup and it just does so much!
*Sees Krark* _He can't keep getting away with it!_
I've been subscribed to the channel for a while and I love the consistency of the content. Really clean narration, perfect speed/pacing, good humor, and easy to see layout. Thanks for making this content.
I would have been March of Swirling PISSED knowing there was no way to break the combo. What a smart tutor.
I don’t think I’ve ever commented on an ad read before, but wow! No one spins add reads to be relatable like that. Well done
Mike piloted Winota really well in game 1! Game 2... Keeping a hand with no card advantage and non-Humans is questionable but the curve is there. The problem is that you are held hostage by your topdecks for non-Humans. Greg Deluging the Drannith was a bad idea I would say.

@@PlayingWithPowerMTG It's cool, speaking as a Winota player, I've suffer through that myself when I'm in games with Selesnya players who jam out turn 1 Dranniths. It takes a lot of aggressive mulling to make Winota work, that and you need a really good reason to cast Winota turn 1 and that reason better be "I have a hasty attacker." Otherwise, people just re-calibrate and plan their interaction suite.

Also wouldn't have mattered because Shaun would've still had infinite mana into Kinnan. Having access to Thrasios wouldn't have changed the outcome of that game. Just forgot he had the March. Whoops, Magic is hard.
think there might've been a misplay with Shatterskull Smashing in game 1, as it deals X damage divided between the two targets, not X damage to each
Love it when my girl Winota out here doing her thing
Mike gg for game one, love to see wins with combat damage, keep it going
Yes!!!! The 69,420 made a comeback! Very nice! T.y. for keeping that great number going. ;)
Noah has a Slay the Spire playmat, and that's super cool. Good job, Noah.
Great games :) March of Swirling is underrated card in my opinion. GO! Winota! GO!
Very exited for the potential of brutal cathar in winota ❤️
I love all 4 of these decks, good games
Note to self: Add March to every blue deck
Will you guys be showcasing games from any of the recent command fests?
A Sygg appearance always makes a good video.
Can someone please explain to me where the mana for the march came from? Shaun should have not had any treasures left after the Emiel, right?
Neat games! I'm really impressed with the regularity at which you release videos. Nice Winota pilot, Krarkashima was less lucky this time, and ... well; Vial scares people, apparently.

Shaun here. Greg maintains the deck database list for curious control. He is an absolute master of the deck with over 400 games under his belt. Mike, Noah, and myself all have extensive experience playing against Greg and know to respect the deck. The most common way you lose to it is allowing multiple card draw engines to stay in play. You generally are ok with the first engine, but once he untaps with the second card draw engine he will draw enough cards to police the rest of the table. Because of this, you need to disrupt these engines, hence why we went so hard after his Vial Smasher with a curiosity effect on it.

@@spielrahoo ha yeah that make sense even if, tbh, y'all seem like decent pilot at your own deck generally ;) I agree that Vial had to be removed but the player being removed from the game was ultra fast too :D
Salute to Noah for attempting Stifle!
I love running tasha's hideous laughter in my krark Saka deck. It's a cheeky win if you get lucky enough
Thanks PWP for convincing me to rebuy Krarkashima (just the commanders) so I can have fun again

March of Swirling Mist is SO good
Very nice
He casts finale where x=69,420. Well done
Both games win with combat damage,that's my favorite number? GG everyone this what I like to see
Nice.
I think there was a miscalculation in the second game on shauns turn. He only used 1 treasure that sacs for 2 mana + 2 life to pay for a phyrexian metamorph. So he shouldnt have really had that treasure to interreact with the march on noahs turn. Hate to be that one guy in the comments but usually i dont catch these in your videos.

Shaun here. The mana dork also tapped for 2 mana with Kinnan out, only 1 of which was used to cast the dockside. The other floating mana went into the metamorph, so that's where the third mana came from.

i also have a thrassion-smasher deck and greg's deck has some inclusions i dont understand like rashmi, sygg and consecrated sphynx are they still playable by todays CEDH standards?
@theasianone3327
Жыл бұрын
Idk how I feel about rashmi but I’d argue that since his deck is very damage based, sygg is understandable, and consecrated sphinx is just preference. They’re all good enough to play but could easily be cut for something else too.
@Benstra93
Жыл бұрын
Rashmi lets you trigger vial smasher for 1 spell if you hit a target with rashmi, sygg combos nice with vial smasher keeping your hand filled, consecrated is just good card draw and some nice damage from vial smasher 🤷🏼♂️

Yup thats right. 69420 just enough to end the game. 😂
Pregame shout out: go krakashima!
I play okaun//zndrsplt competitively, and switch over 67 cards to my Mr and Mr. Thumbless deck, I've never had more fun playing commander than I've had Rollin dice and ruining dreams in MTG
In game2, maybe it's better for Greg to hold his OPPOSITON AGENT and ready for flashing it at the very beginning of the game?
First game Prelate naming 2 , then immediately casts Drannith Magistrate, Devoted Druid, Dockside and more. What am I missing here ?

"X=69420" 😎
Game 2. Why T/B pilot can even cast March of Swirling Mist with Prelate on 1? Prelate looks on mana value, not cmc in stack. So X in mana cost doesn't matter and it's still 1 mana spell
@spielrahoo
Жыл бұрын
Thats not quite right. Mana value is the new term for CMC, they mean exactly the same thing. When you play an X spell, whatever you pay for X is included in the mana value. In this case, X = 3, so the total mana value of the March is 4, making it a legal play.
Wait, if a permanent transforms, it's not re-entering the battlefield. When Brutal Cathar transformed, Dockside Extortionist shouldn't have been exiled.

There are plenty of other channels that offer that type of gameplay. This is our style. It’s not for everyone and that’s okay.
Great games as always but... can we get like one cEDH video with non-traditional commanders? Like idk, i would like to see you guys try to create a cEDH with weird or interesting commanders. I'm kinda tired of always seeing the same Tharasios decks or the same Sakashima or Tymna, etc. Just an opinion, not trying to do controversy here

@DoubleBeast

I did when it was all about T&T Flash Hulk. But Flash is no more, and now there are plenty of cards to play in each color (though white is still trailing behind). Personally, I'm enjoying Malcolm the most among all partner commanders. He stands out 'cause he's actually out there gettin' it in on the field and is integral to the fast wincon with Buccaneer. Thrasios is quite bland in comparison. He feels like a game piece vs. a *Commander.* This is why I was not very enthused by partner commanders. Thrasios and Tymna especially are often just there for the colors and card draw utility.
Gregg is sooooooooooooooo dumb for not playing op agent, either turn one, and get at least two lands or, at least held it up turn 2 and when spellseeker was cast he could have stole the search! Wow, big thumbs down for this!
