in life yes. in chess, as this game shows, winning on flag with a losing position is kinda weak imho. chess is a mind game, time matters but should not be critical parameter in this game Bc8 is weak, and f6 is huge blunder... for zeinot. Playing Qd2 and f5 is winning I think

The previous video and this one were simply amazing! Apart of knowing how to move the parts which I learned almost 40 years ago, I don't know anything about chess. And yet, I was watching these two games as if I was at a basketball game of my preferred team. As the game advanced, with all the changes, I became more and more nervous and I found myself at the last seconds like the last seconds of a basketball game tied up - I was completely stressed, anxious, nervous and I was deep into the game even though I didn't understand anything! Your narration is probably the best in the world. And I watched you only from a random suggestion by KZread... Well done!!!

Wowa a close one, you were doing so well. I'm still playing the cow and finding all sorts of ways to win with it. Seems that a lot of people fall into little traps and pitfalls after I play the opening, I presume because they are unfamiliar with it. I really like that it is so solid defensively during the beginning of the game. It makes games last longer and gets me to middle game tactics more often, thus it is increasing my skills at that part of the game. It may not be the best for expert players, but it's great for beginners. Thanks again, I like watching all the games in this event, so the last one would be nice to complete the whole thing!

10:10 of course u could have done something different Anna. The winning move here was queen takes f1 rook, with the idea of winning his queen. String goes Queen takes rook, king takes queen (almost forced) bishop checks by moving to a6, king moves anywhere and rook takes queen!!! This was difficult to see with 40 secs left on the clock tho.

Rotate your shoulders to settle into a natural position, and breath (You are probably holding your breath a little too). Your visible anxiety is less effective than a deadly calm demeanour lol. At 5:25, doesn't The Italian Guy have the infamous 'Greek Gift' #-sequence..(minus the Knight)..? Rather than the Rh3 move, he simply sacrifices the Bishop with Bh7+... zugswang is K must take B, then R to the h-file...K must return to g8..then Q completes & closes the diagonal... protected by Anna's pawns... Black Q is one move behind
