@@ViceGripGarage Well, it's your wallet. I had a couple of those late Suburbans, both 350/700R4 and 13-ish was about what they got. I put a flat bug deflector on one and all it did was cost me about 1 MPG. So I took it back off.
I love that you give out Hot wheels to the kids...brought tears to my eyes because my late husband collected Hot wheels and he'd walk around our neighborhood giving the children, boys and girls, the toys. He tried to include a Treasure Hunt in each batch of 5 or 6 cars. He'd say, I don't know if the kids got anything for Christmas. He was such a good man. I miss him so much. Keep that tradition of giving the Hot wheels to the kids. Derek you're a kind hearted soul, too.

Deadwood, that's out here in my neighborhood, well not too far away - go there quite often from just a bit over here in Wyoming when I need to find my Aces and eights at the No. 10 Saloon. Even been there a few times when it was hot rods on Main and when it was full of motor bikes, it's only 11 more miles to Sturgis from Deadwood.

You are by far one of the most entertaining personalities on KZread and it's obviously not an act. I can tell by the reactions of your wife and sons when you rattle off one your "Derek-isims" and they don't bat an eye or crack a smile because it's just you being you. Beyond having a great attitude and great sense of humor, you are a wealth of automotive knowledge. I get entertainment and usually learn a new trick when it comes to turning a wrench. Favorite part of this video was seeing cases of hot wheels for the kids along the trip. Such a small thing but to think if the smiles on those kids faces catching a hot wheel while watching everything roll by brings a smile to a guys normally grumpy face. You guys are the best!
For a second there at 11:30 I thought that was a Jack Daniel's bottle. I hope one I'll be able to join you'all on a power tour with my own rig. Great videos, this is the only channel with 1+ hour long videos worth watching.

Derek and Jessica...everything in this video was...COOL! You are rockin' it, keepin' it real and you're staying the same as people with your now huge KZread channel. You guys are awesome, thanks for the great videos.
I love your channel and I love the comedy! You're a natural born comedian mechanic! I watch these car shows and all I do is get sand and cry for hours. I'm a housebound disabled Army veteran and because of severe peripheral neuropathy the only activity I can participate in is sitting in this chair, where I eat, sleep, check out KZread and spend the rest of my life rotting away. It sucks! Every aspect of what used to bring me joy is now gone. I've sold everything, cars, motorcycle, golf clubs, fishing, hunting and camping gear...all gone. Watching a specific few KZread channels is the one and only thing I'm capable of doing. You have a wonderful life, it's good you used your time here on Earth wisely.
