    Were you able to find a way to bind up/down camera movement to the gimbal dial? Liftoff does not seems to detect the dial.

    I didn't try but I know some of the buttons are the radio are reserved for DJI use with their drones.

    apparently if you have a Logitech F310 it works within any plug-in (tested arming, lift up/down, yaw, roll & pitch)

    Hi.... I need to ask you a question. RC2 needs USB-C to USB-A cable to connect to PC. But is it enough to connect via USB-A 2.0 or it needs a higher generation such as 3.0 3.2 etc.? I want it to perform with Liftoff....

    USB 2.0 is fine, there isn't much data being exchanged anyway.

    I would like to use my pc to control my drone. I have full flight controls, stick, rudder pedals, and helicopter rotor stick. Oh, I wish it'd be easier to get set up.

    Not for LiftOff but you can get some of the iOS simulators, such as simudrone.

    Bought new controller, downloaded DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series), updated firmware and controller works at liftoff. No need to sync with drone

    I purchased the RC-N1 controller, installed the DJI Assistant app and updated the firmware to the latest version, but LiftOff doesn't show it, what am I doing wrong?

    Yes, you need to change the throttle behaviour. Instructions are in the manual.

    I'll have to check on the computer but I remember there being an invert button. Otherwise you can re-do the calibration and make sure that you move the sticks in the direction shown.

    Go to Options > Controls > Controller > Fine-tune > Click Invert on the channel that is backwards.

    Not easily for Liftoff as that's a PC based simulator. I suppose you could put your drone in front of your computer display and put a cooling fan on the air unit to get a similar experience or try to use the video input on the goggles.

    Totally clear that it works OK with Liftoff and other games for drones, BUT..... I am trying to control my plane on Microsoft flight simulator and no way... do you know how? thanks

    I haven't tried but from what I saw in Liftoff, it shows up as a HID controller so might just be a matter of mapping what stick does what. Again I haven't tried but that may point you in the right direction.

    The RC works stand alone ?(withou fpv or avata drone or google?) i Was thiking to start to buy it and train in to DJI simulator (windows) and later buy drone and google combo...

    It does work standalone BUT (and a big but) a few people posted that they needed to activate it by connecting it to the goggles before it would work in a simulator. Now that doesn't make sense as it should activate once you connect it to the DJI computer software and update the firmware. I'd suggest buying from somewhere with a return policy if the standalone is very important for you (perhaps use my amazon links in the video description ;) )

    Close but no cigar. So the big question is does it work with the controller 3 buy DJI. I'm a complete newbie I'm trying to find a simulator that works with a DJI of attitude and its controllers. Any help would be greatly appreciated a video would be even better

    Your best bet is to ask on the DJI forums. I don't intend to purchase the controller 3 after my experience with the controller 2.

    @@A.d92 Have they been connected to the computer and the DJI software to do a firmware upgrade? They need to be activated one way or another. Others have said they needed to connect to a pair of goggles while others just the DJI software.

    I got the dji fpv controller and using velocidrone. It recognizes the controller buttons but the sticks do not work. The program does not pick it up. Anyone know how to fix this?

    @@Mangorille yes did all that. I figured out how to fix it though. You have to move the stick you are assigning all the way down or right. Then when it tells you to move it, you move it in the direction you want. For example if you are assigning throttle. You move the throttle all the way down and wait for the screen to tell you to move it. Then it will start reacting to the sticks.

    @@Mangorille no it was a bind problem. I bound the controller to the drone, but kept flashing red and didn’t notice. I had to hook controller to DJI assistant 2 and update firmware. Then connect my phone to the goggles and pair them all together at once WITH the phone connected to the goggles for some reason. After that the controller worked and most importantly was registering the left stick inputs.

    A DJI Remote Controller will not work on any simulator as long as it is not linked to a drone or to a goggles or to both. In other words, a hot new controller out of the box will not work on simulator until it is linked and activated with a device.

    Thanks for sharing. Is it that it needs to be connected to the computer to be activated or actually connected to a drone/air unit? My understand was always that it needed to be connected to the software and updated/activated first.

    Well, I tried it with Tryp, and all I had to do was update the firmware with DJI Assistant FPV, and it worked. No drone no goggles.

    @@Mangorille actually, mine is dji avata. It was good before, and suddenly “remot controler stick error”notifications appears and asking for calibrate. When i try to fly, the drone always go to the right and lost control, and asking for calibrate again and again

    @@gallerywawan9012 I don't have experience with the Avata but look in the goggles menu to see if there is a calibrate option under any of the menus. This was there with the old black DJI remote.

    Just bought a brand new RC2 to use with Liftoff before I buy my Avata. My black DJI FPV remote works fine with liftoff, the new remote does not. Only sees it as a C5 not HID. Reading I need to activate this remote to a DJI drone first and update the remote's firmware before using it in Liftoff. BOOOOOOO

    You should be able to activate and update it by connecting it to the DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series) software. Have you tried that?

    @@jeremylussier5964 the only fix that I have found is that you have to update the firmware of the controller and activate it with a drone, which I don’t have yet.

    @@Mangorille for Real… if one thing keeps me from buying into the 03 ecosystem, it'll be the fact that I can't use the Black Remote. and for the fact that dji don't even sell the battery for the black remote anymore, it is not looking good 🤷‍♂
