Your audio is low, while editing make sure to auto level your audio. Btw your content is superb!

@@soota6083 Thanks for the reply. Did you activate your FPV Combo already and perhaps have flown at least once in normal mode? It appears there is some sort of unlock in place.

@@LXZ I haven't flown it yet but have already activated it. The weird thing is I went to this website based on another video: gamepad-tester.com/ and at first, it did not detect my controller. After randomly pressing buttons and moving the joysticks around, it ended up detecting it. Then, I downloaded Liftoff and it ended up working great. Pretty odd.

Thanks for the video. Is the lag as bad in the app, as it is in the video? As it looks unusable. Its absurd that DJI think it ok just to totally ignore Android users. Im not sure I would have bought it straightaway, if I had of known. I have noticed none of the 'Big KZreadrs have mentioned it in their reviews. I wonder why.

Hi. The lag is actually nonexistent (or at least not noticeable) in real life. It was late when I recorded and uploaded this video, hence the bad sound and laggy gameplay due to not double-checking my recording settings. Thinking about recording this again with proper settings.

@@JustinDotysLife If it is not yet activated or connected to the rest of the FPV Drone combo, then it won't work. Do that first and see if that fixes things.

I just returned mine... Without proper training I don't wanna fly... It is dangerous for others as well... This is a good hack but I really want that ful dji remote support... changing modes between flights and panic button... I'm a loyal dji user for many years and excluding android from training app is a big deal for me and really sad about dji... Come-on dji... It's not that hard to create that android app

Hey! How does this DJI remote controller 2 compared to the TBS tango 2? I'm totally new and want to use the DJI goggles with a cinewhoop.

@@yantorizkiyanto I found where the problem came from, we had to update the controller. For that you have to turn everything on, connect everything and connect the phone with the dji application to the headset and there you can make the updates.

yes you need to update the remote firmware. If you just bought the remote, you can update it via DJI Assistant 2 (DJI FPV Series). Mine is working

Dear Alex, I have my DJI FPV Combo. I installed DJI Assistant2 ( DGI FPV series V2.1.0.) I installed it on my Lenovo ThinkPadX with Windows 10. Assistant2 recognizes the Game Controller but it doesn't install the drivers. I bought Liftoff from Steam but Windows10 doesn't recognize my Game Controller. Any idea how to fix it? Hope for hearing for you.

Hey guys, quick question: When you tried to connect the controller, did you already register and test the drone? It is possible that there's a hardware switch inside which only activates after the drone is activated.

Muss man probieren. Mini 2 SEcl Controller hat wahrscheinlich Micro USB? Also per USB zu Micro USB mit dem PC verbinden und schauen ob Windows was als Controller erkennt. Der Mini 2 SE Controller muss aber wahrscheinlich aktiviert sein (wenn du mit der Mini 2 SE schon mal geflogen bist, ist er das). ABER: Da der linke Stick auf der Y Achse immer in die Mittelstellung zentriert, wirst du bei der Schubkontrolle nicht viel Spaß haben

Hi, I'm on liftoff in the level mode in straw bale. When I harm quad it just keeps rising on its one can I stop this? Or is there a slower quad in liftoff? Good this fpb is so goddam hard to learn

I have a brand new installation of Windows 10, and recently activated the DJI FPV - but have never flown it because I want to train first. On my first attempt to follow the video, I used the USB cable that DJI provided and *nothing* happened when I connected the controller to the laptop. I then tried my "regular" USB cable from Samsung and Windows 10 detected the controller and installed drivers. TLDR: don't use DJI's USB cable P.S. in the Game you left it in "Acro" mode. Obviously, that's not great for beginners. What mode is the most realistic to train as a beginner ? "Level" or "Horizontal" ? What in-game drone best compares to the DJI FPV ?

There is now a free DLC available that adds the DJI FPV Drone to liftoff. You can fly it in manual mode. I know this is an old comment but just to help people who might read it.

Maybe. If you are on Windows, I suggest you just connect it via USB and then open Windows' Game Controller configuration to see if it shows up and registers inputs. Please report back with your findings.

I had to raise the volume on my speakers to full maximum before I could hear anything.

Hallo Channel Z Super Erklärung dank Bilder! Ich habe mir den selben Controller dji V2 gekauft! Und wollte auch Fliegen lernen wie schön du es erklärt hast. Jedoch blinkt mein Controller nur und ich kann ihn nicht kalibrieren oder mit spielen zum üben für Fpv Fliegen.Habe schon gesucht über all aber nichts gefunden.Der Pc Erkennt Ihn zwar aber hat keinen Treiber.Liegt es vielleicht daran das ich die FPV Drohne benötige um mit dem Controller eine verbindung mit pc zu schaffen.Diverse andere Kabel habe ich auch schon probiert leider ohne erfolg! Lg Und danke für die Infos im Vorraus!

Ist so wie Du sagst - Controller ohne die DJI FPV Drone macht keinen Sinn, denn der Controller muss zunächst mit der Drohne gekoppelt werden, wodurch er softwareseitig aktiviert wird. Wird also leider nix.

I have the same controller but I plug it into my pc but cant get and stick movements during calibration . Also it’s never been connected to goggles or drone does that make a difference?

@@JustinDotysLife I thought you got the full FPV drone combo. Well, in that case, you're likely out of luck. You could try to get the DJI Assistant 2 FPV Series software, use that to update the firmware and maybe that will also activate it.

1. Ist der Controller eingeschaltet? 2. Fenster geht nicht von alleine auf - Du musst bei Windows in der Systemsteuerung nach "USB-Gamecontroller einrichten" suchen. Da sollte dann das HID Gerät auftauchen.

Hi Sebastian. That's a good question. Actually, DJI doesn't offer the controller separately. So in order to try out FPV PC simulator flying, you could try to get a cheap RC radio that supports USB connection. I know some FrSky radios do that. Buy the drone as its easy to fly on normal mode, trust me the drone is amazing, im just learning and its awesome, im practising on the simulator before I do full manual mode👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I did update the firmware on the controller, goggles and drone using the DJI Assistant 2 for FPV application. I however did not install drivers in Windows

Are you on Win10? Open up your USB Gamepad manager and you should see a "HID Device" there. If it doesn't register stick movements, you maybe haven't activated your controller (and the rest of your FPV Drone Combo) yet. It's unclear how / why but many people who respond it doesn't work didn't have their maiden flight and it worked for them after activating the drone combo. Hope this helps, feel free to report back.

At first he didnt registered on my pc thats dron is connected , after over900 download software from official dji website he started see him how HDI interface , also in liftoff he see like HDI interface .But sticks not calibrate.... With combo everything done ,only yestarday i updated dji glasses and dron with controller. Hmmm cant understand how u gets work it easy :D PS. oh yess he writed that Devise driver unavailable. How u think what it can be?

Figured it out. Use a usb-c to usb adapter, then the dongle that comes in the box to convert it back to usb so you can hook it into your macbook.

Hey, I tried 3 times, but each time I gave up. I'm struggling to configure Liftoff so it performs exactly as DJI FPV in real life. Otherwise, I cannot develop accurate muscle memory. Problems/questions: 1. Drone goes up when the throttle is at 50%, in real life approx 25% is enough. 2. Tried various DJI FPV drones from the workshop, they look different (perhaps copyright), but still don't perform as a real DJI FPV drone. 3. The rates configuration in-game is very complex - DJI FPV has 3 rate settings for each movement, but the game has like 8 or 9... Someone developed a "calculator", but it is still confusing. Would you be so kind and create a video to prove that we really can train skills for DJI FPV using liftoff? Unfortunately, this video just proves that the DJI FPV's controller works.

Before I go through the process to prove what you want me to prove, would you be so kind to create a video to prove that I am obliged to prove what i am supposed to prove? Of course I am joking but seriously, I am not here to prove anything - I just found out that the controller works with Windows 10 once the controller is activated. That's it. You have to go from there and with my current job I don't really have time to create any more videos anyway (sasly). Happy flying in any case, buddy!

​@@LXZ Hey Alex, sorry if you found my comment aggressive or demanding, I didn't intend to. People who own a DJI FPV controller usually have it as a part of the DJI FPV combo. Apart from DJI's Virtual Flight iOS app, we are out of options to simulate the actual experience. Or maybe there is a way! - if you figured that out, you would be the first and likely it would give you a significant popularity boost. I'm not a video creator myself.

I've been flying for many years, (and still suck). The benefit you gain as a novice, is a better understanding of the concepts you are having issues with in your initial question about dialing in rates of control. But most importantly, you develop the muscle memory from using the controller to manipulate the view you see in the game using the sticks. The simulation is not 100% accurate, however, the control and orientation of an FPV is effectively identical and you can "train" to be a better RP, especially if you're using the sim to learn track layout, pre-race. If you're not developing the muscle memory, fly MORE. It's not a 2 hour process for most, it's years. Don't give up!

@@rene2584 fixed. You have to start up the drone-remote-goggles and activate in dji fly. Drone must have GPS signal.

Well, my mic is actually great - I just botched the recording settings since I shot the video when it was very late. Will record a better video when I got the time.

Pls get a real 5inch and sell the Dji FPV before you crash, smoother, more powerful and much more durable, Grüße Felix!
