Got it figured out. I had update the firmware of the controller through DJI Assistant.

Tad of a bummer but you can use a PSP remote if you're using it to control your tello drone.
Remote Controller 2 not working in liftoff, here is the fix.
Level mode = Angle mode = beginner mode.
You want to be in level mode in liftoff with learning to fly in manual mode. Then just change flight modes as needed.

Im crashing mine all the time. With Air2s controller, I tried many settings but I guess that right stick is for forward, and I've try to invert and still can't fly . I bought avata days ago but I fly better on DJI fly app than this one... don't know why! :(

Congrats with the avata... Try connecting the DJI remote to your computer the way you do before you play the liftoff. then launch the DJI Assistant 2 for consumer drones. I'm also having the issue with the stick being in mirror mode, quite annoying.. Anyone who knows a fix for that?

@@How-to-by-Lou The new update from liftoff has now made it possible to recognize the DJI 3 controller as a DJI controller. It worked for me after I updated :)

Not sure maybe try rebooting the machine. Will try and see if I can simulate it..
I'm trying to connect my FPV 2 controller to my PC and it's not registering. I'm using a USB to USB C cable. Is that the right one? My PC doesn't have USB C ports. I've tried 3 different cables.

Hard work I say - make sure it’s on and charged Hopefully it does not require a driver - It’s plug and play so should work seamlessly. Hi, mate. I have already installed the Liftoff app, and I am trying to bind my Dji fpv controller 2 to my Mac but it simply shows as C5 controller , I tried different types of cables , extensions etc , but it didn't help

Sometimes you’ll get lucky and it will show up as the DJI controller and at other times it will show up as something else.. as long as it works and you can calibrate it you’ll be ok… Me personally it drove me crazy - so I deleted the app and started from scratch.. my other machine shows something else.. will check later on the next live session and share what shows up …

Not sure if the selection is still there - but it was an old potato drone.. Will have to check again. It may have been in the steam store as a download but you're best to fly those FPV drones in the library so you can have the true FPV experience.
