How'd you guys think Goblin is gonna turn out, Like the normal Goblin, ultimate goblin or a mix/transformation throughout the game

If he is a dlc villain I want him to stay alive

Do it like the city that never sleeps. DLC 1 is Miles, and Peter hunting him down and bringing him in by the end, but you don't see the symbiote anywhere. DLC 2 starts off with you playing as cletus in the raft before you get the option simply titled "Carnage" where the symbiote comes of you and you tear through the raft with it showing certain villains escaping with DLC 2 ending with Miles being taken over. DLC 3 being about Peter trying to get Miles back from the symbiote as Carnage causes chaos and destruction all throughout New York, the ending of DLC 3 being Carnage being stopped and the end credits showing the Carnage symbiote being in Oscorps hands.

@DanExclaims thanks. They also could do Red Goblin if they keep Carnage around. Maybe Norman or Harry, whoever they make the Goblin, turns to the Carnage symbiote to kill the Spider-Men because they can't kill them. I think, though, and this was something me and my brother and I talked about, they could have Norman become the Green Goblin and Harry become the Hobgoblin, so we can have two goblins vs two Spider-Men with maybe one of the Goblins dying and the other uses Carnage as a last resort. This was an idea for Spider-Man 3, though, with Norman working with Otto, but Otto doesn't know it's Norman because he's the Green Goblin with him being killed by The Green Goblin by the end of the game with the game also having MJ be pregnant and the end being her having her and Peter's kid Mayday Parker with them moving to San Francisco. Had some thoughts for DLC for this idea as well

dude i just had a discussion with my wife that it was the first game that like my brother and I argued over who was player 2. He always got venom, and I was always with webs, hence why my first aol name was SPIDER-DAN >:D

I love Maximum Carnage. The comic is so darn gory too and Spidey teamed up with several superheroes.

Tbh I’m happy carnage is a DLC because we can see that spider man 3 is probably going to have green goblin as the main villain so it will stop him feeling like a side character

Carnage was sucha menace in Maximum Carnage, Thor had to show up

Honestly there was so much symbiote fan service, I don’t see how insomnia doesn’t make a game about them. At least multi dlcs

like Knull, right infront of our faces, and yet like we're not gonna address it that the dumb symbiote almost took over earth, a capable one that WASN'T venom would have won.

I hope it’s gonna be a long form DLC like the previous games or put into the next game. If they do it in the next game, there’s a chance for Miles to have Carnage for a bit, maybe having Peter and Anti-Venom return.

I actually thunk he'll be part of the 3rd game, because they've teased Green Goblin and so it could be the perfect way to have 1 act have Green Goblin as the villain, another act have Carnage as the villain, and the 3rd/final act be Red Goblin.

Maximum carnage is one of my favorite spiderman comics ever. I still remember the corner store I got it in with my mom. This spiderman game was epic, and too crammed together. You have 3 games in 1 game with the time frame of half a game. Kraven needed more. Spidermans moves and movements while the symbiote didn't really change. Even shooting webs from the back of his hand as opposed to his wrist as the symbiote would've felt nostalgic. We need to play as venom in free roam. And carnage needs his own game.

It makes better sense having him as the DLC because if he was in the main Spider-Man. 3 people would complain that they just reuse the venom. Plus they got two other people set up as the villain for the next game so having three people would be crazy

Honestly, I saw that guy when he was first introduced, saw he was a murderous redhead and thought to myself "oh yeah, that's Cletus Cassidy."

Don’t feel bad, Same thing happened to me lol. Also, with everything that’s potentially coming in the third game, I think it’s perfectly fine if the DLC is exclusively about dealing with carnage, especially if it’s another 3 pack like the first game.

Spider-Man 3 maximum Carnage

I may be wrong but I think it's going like this: maximum carnage first that goes into spider island ending with superior spider man which the final spider man game will cover along with goblin nation and the red goblin as the last villian.

Soon as i saw him i knew it was CK. His shirt, the color of his hair, the fact that he had already run a cult based on similar "world is ending and being reborn" conspiracies. And even the flame logo loosely looks like the symbiote logo in the game if you look at it hard enough (kind of a reach ngl) It all points to King in Black era Carnage. Then even in the story they lowkey mention codexes.

Well assuming its like the last game, they will split the DLC into 3 parts, act 1, act 2, and act 3, so we get 3 DLCs, one for each act

and Silk might be a playable character in the third possible installment! I hope that it's a third installment and not a DLC

Better for carnage to star in a full dlc himself then be a side story in the next game. Unless they plan to do Red Goblin to level the playing field with anti-venom Peter, id rather he be left to lead his own story.

Im going to bet Carnage wont be DLC. Im thinking they're going to save him for the next game so we can get Red Goblin as one of the final bosses next game. As for the DLC, im guessing it will focus on Silk and Chameleon primarily, as well as being Miles focused to show Peter actually being retired.

I mean if its dlc its be the most epic dlc in history. Now considering we just survive the king in black style planet symbiote scenario in spiderman 2; i wouldve been fine then having it in the 3rd instalment leadin to norman being red goblin but then it be carnage, norman and otto in the last game thats three of spideys most danerous rogues it be intense just surving also there would be the problem of pacing and breathing room for all of them. Carnage beung the antagonist for the dlc is fine cause if cassady survives a part of his symbiote could still be used to create the red goblin as a final boss fight.

I think it's gonna be in the new game because it would be smart to involve Cindy AKA silk for a carnage game

If they make it just a DLC and not a main threat, well I cannot do anything about it and will just be happy to have Carnage in the Insomniac games, but I will not be happy about it. Carnage feels to importent and grand of scale to simply push to a DLC. Also as the next games I think we will get a *Spider-Man & Silk* game focusing on Miles and Cindy, then a *Spider-Man 3* with all 3 Spider-People (and possibly introducea new one, since that seems to be a trend so far), Harry as Goblin, and Carnage. Thats just my theory, but only tome will tell.

I hope riot or toxin are going to be part of a DLC Edit: I have a much much better idea which will get them tons of money (I bet) and will be fun it’s a DLC that holds the scream,toxin,venom,carnage and riot (I think that’s all the symbiotes correct me if I’m wrong but I would definitely buy that DLC in a second

I understand how people want the symbiote studf to just stay in SM2. But I think relegating Carnage just to DLC would be a crime. Especially with all the posibilities with Red Goblin and Carnage Miles. Hopefully they keep Carnage, and only Carnage in Spider Man 3😢
