I do love how no matter the universe the second the venom symbiote sees Peter they’re instantly convinced that Peter is the best thing ever.

16:14 “this is where we became best friends. and now it’s where we become brothers.” I can’t help but replay that line over and over. It was delivered so perfectly and it’s something I’ve never heard venom say before. 10/10!

His best accomplishment was getting Peter to see reason and surviving long enough against Venom. Are we playing the same game?

God Yuri Lowenthal absolutely knocked it out of the park in this game the pure desperation in his voice at 32:22 & 32:51 gave me chills on my first playthrough. Give this man his GOTY award for best performance.

"You have to kill us." That single line had so much weight in it. Harry Osborn just begged his best friend to kill him. He begged Peter Parker to kill him.

But this is the first time Venom is not a traditional villain in his first appearance in a series. Movie Venom doesn't count since he outright Anti hero from the beginning and Peter wasn't there as an active figure.

In a way all of their figures make sense, well atleast to some extent. Peters being a person with brown hair, a visible scar and riding a WHITE horse, much like he is brown hairred, been in multiple fights and had multiple scars and he's currently bonded to a WHITE symbiote. MJs is a person with a short weapon, a thin scar and also brown hair, much like her Symkarian Pistol, her fighting not as long as Peters and her obvious brownish red hair, MJ clearly got the short end of the stick compared to Peters lol

I do enjoy the fact that JJJ is not entirely blaming Spider-Men for what Venom did. Sure, Venom tarnished Pete's reputation to the point Jonah expresses his worry about how he might have taken out Miles. Jonah doesn't entirely hate Spider-Men, he only assumes that they think they are above the laws.

@@cruzwatts5343 I’m fine with Miles being stronger personally, if I could choose the powers of any spider hero. I’d go with Miles, cloaking and bio electric powers sound bad ass compared to just improved strength and reflexes. It also makes sense for him to be stronger if he has a larger physical frame than Peter. I know that line was mostly meant as a joke when Miles said he was at least half an inch taller than Peter. But he will be larger than him. I played more as Miles till the anti venom suit popped up, that bomb ability is broken.

The music that played in this fight really sold just how great and also emotional this game was. Pure Cinema.

The way this game uses color is absolutely jawdropping in some instances. Miles’ suit arms contrast and passive blue pulsing is mesmerizing.

You know what I really love about this? Martin Li got his negative powers from GR27, which was supposed to cure Harry’s sickness. It took those powers to create Antivenom and Miles Electric Blue, both of which saved him from Venom, brought him back to life and, quite possibly, cured his sickness. He may be comatose now, but I wouldn’t give up on him yet.

I like how during all of Venoms lines it sounds like Harry’s talking, but it also sounds like things Venom could be saying, like about the whole miles taking Peter away bit.

Carnage…will…be…DLC and it’s so obvious y’all lol. If you played the Wraith mission it’s pretty evident that Carnage is getting his own part. I’m 100% sure about it. It’s like with Hammerhead. Plus, from a game production standpoint they already have the assets and I’m also sure they don’t want to waste them for the third game, so they can focus on Green Goblin.

I AM SO happy that they really did not pull the "jealous best friend war dynamic" between harry and miles. MIles understood how much harry meant to peter, and its nice to see him not taking it too personally. i was worried that it would stain the story with such an overdone cliche. goty for me.

@@CaptainCheffrey352 I think that was the symbiote talking. before the symbiote began taking over, Harry was very supportive of miles and even gave him advice on coping with revenge and his dead father. They could easily have ruined miles by making him pessimistic and angry that peter spent more time with harry, but he handled it very well. and so did harry. Most of harrys jealousy over miles was created by the symbiote and was maxified when he became venom.

There's been a couple opportunities where Peter could talk to Miles about how he's feeling about the situation with Li and his newly found powers, while i get that Harry's being back is important to Peter, so is Miles

Not part of the fight but Mark Rolston's scream of rage at 40:09 are absolutely epic and chilling. I cannot wait for him to take up the Green Goblin mantle.

Man that whole scene 37:20 was so tense, I was genuinely not expecting Miles to do that, it’s so rare that Harry actually makes it, I was glad Insomniac went in that direction.

@@manvirshergill1739 ehhhh I dunno if one character death is the deciding factor of the game not having any real weight, it wasn’t really about Peter and how much he’s losing anyway. It was more about setting up Miles to be the next Spider-Man and for Peter’s retirement. Plus now we got a set up with Norman Osborn despising Spider-Man and thinking he made his son comatose. I’m excited to see where they go next tbh

That double webbed attack in mid air with miles and Peter gave me all kinds of goose bumps

Man playing this fight and hearing the music along with it was such an overwhelming feeling. That soundtrack is incredible, this whole entire final sequence is incredible and really showcased the best things about the game from the fighting to the visuals to the story. Insomniac just hitting nothing but home runs at this point

Venom is the hardest Boss I ever fought. On ultimate it was a hard. He just kept throwing endless attacks on you. Them 19 inches of venom are no joke.

Peter's anti-venom powers do weaken the symbiote's hold on Harry. That's what makes the end of the fight so heartbreaking. For that last moment, Harry was himself again and he told Peter to end it before the alien took over again, and now Harry will never wake up again and as usual, Norman Osborne wants to blame everyone but himself for what happened to Harry. I'm going to enjoy impaling that fucker on his own glider in Spiderman 3 (yes, that was a Raimi reference cause Spiderman 1 and 2 were all-time classics).

This game did not disappoint i played and beat it an hour ago. Amazing game they even made the sidequests fun to do

God when Peter said "I love you" to Harry i have no shame in admitting I cried so heavily from that line alone .... I could imagine losing my best friend and being so scared i had to tell them that because i wouldnt be sure if they were gonna live .... the absolute weight of that statement crushed me .... yuri did such a beautiful job man i love insomniac for making Spidey this way my favorite hero was done justice once again

The floor of the lab at the 33:13 mark resembles Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man being taken over by the venom symbiote . Peak story telling.

@@randomcenturion7264 when you really think about it, Harry has become Norman’s lab rat, whether Norman is aware of it or not. Aside from the obvious “symbiote turning Harry into Venom” stuff, Harry was already traumatized by being in the tank with the symbiote for treatment. Especially considering Norman just forced the thing onto him. And now Norman’s planning to inject the G-Serum into Harry without any testing. Even with Norman’s good intentions, he’s unknowingly causing more harm than good. And I doubt the G-Serum will make things better for Harry.

I love that Anti-Venom is shown as a healing touch here. It highlights his personality.

Well technically it's the other way around. Before Marvel decided to l turn the symbiote into a benevolent race that was only evil because of Knull, they where depicted as an invasive species that take over planets and absorb life forms.

"You're my best friend!" at 20:58 You could just hear Peter's pain in the delivery of that line, for a moment he came close to crying but he knew he couldn't afford to have a mental breakdown in that moment of life or death not only for himself but also for Harry and everyone else.

Tip: If you use the car alarm on the 2nd stage of fighting venom it will take out most of the enemies

I don't know what it is but I just felt that the Octavius fight was so much more impactful to me then this, I love this fight but I felt more emotional in that fight with Doc Ock

39:00 Of course Norman thinks that the Spider-Men made Harry super weak, when if he didn't put Harry through all of this, he wouldn't have to deal with the consequences of his own actions. If only Norman actually enlisted the help of Peter and Miles, then he would've been in a better spot. But of course Norman doesn't want to do that, because then it'll fit his arguments against them.

The suit is directly linked to Peter’s white blood cells. He can’t give it to anyone

it’s being like 14 days this game came out and this guy already finish it

So Spider-Man 3 will have you playing as Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Cindy Moon. With the big bad being Norman Osborn as the Green\Red Goblin.
