He's his father, after all. Eddie's more grounded personality connected to Venom helps them to have clearer thoughts, unlike Cletus with Carnage.

Carnage biogically is stronger but symbiotically it has been mentioned multiple times through the first and second movie that Eddie and Venom have one of the strongest bond between a host. hence why Venom is actually a lot stronger than they claim to be

It seems like Venom's physically stronger and more skilled than Carnage (which makes sense given Carnage is younger and less experienced, even if it's different to the comics). But Carnage has far more OP powers.

I think venom is stronger and more durable if its a fair fight This fight was not fair as carnage ate a TON of brains and even another brain mid fight to power him up a shit lot And venom, if we dont count the chickens ( humans brains are better for symbiotes ) hasnt eaten a single brain in months maybe even years so he was incredibly underpowered

I like the fact that they distinguished the bond between Eddie and venom vs Cletus and carnage. As u can see venom forms around Eddie like a shield or a full body shield/coat thing but carnage comes OUT of Cletus body as if he’s in his cells because he’s attached to his blood. Very nice touch

The color in some way indicates strength as each color has unique factors which can lead to strength, carnage is red because of the fact he is bonded with Cassidy’s blood. That’s why they appear as one organism.

It's actually quite a fascinating comparison between Carnage and Venom; Venom has a glossy oily look to his form whereas Carnage looks like someone who has been skinned, all raw muscle an membranes giving him a far more visceral look.

The spikes that Carnage shoots around also looks different than Riot's. It looks more organic, easy to break that Venom can just bite it to get rid of it. While Riot is more metallic and hard to fight to, like Venom said, he has a huge arsenal of weapons.

@@ironboyjunior8509Carnage could literally also impale her too. Also, Dan is super lucky that Carnage didn’t right away impale Dan and decapitate him after he poured fire and gasoline on him. Carnage is also technically a serial killer himself as unlike symbiotes like Riot or Venom, Carnage just kills other symbiotes because he doesn’t have any moral boundaries. Riot in the first movie for example was trying to get the symbiote race to Earth and literally called Venom a “traitor”. Carnage has no care about his own race because Carnage bonded with a human serial killer that doesn’t follow any rules and kills when he wants to.

The fact that nearly everything in set is practical except Venom and Carnage really makes this a cool scene. Most modern movies would have made the entire environment CGI, not just the characters. It really sells the action and doesn’t just feel like you’re watching a video game cutscene.

Venom also had a ton of help from dan and others, like in the end, if anne and dan didn't help venom reach Eddie before he fell, Eddie would've been injured just like cletus. Carnage and cletus fell without them having any rebounds or help, that's why carnage couldn't return to cletus in time. If the fight was fair without plot armor, carnage would've been way more gruesome and killed venom instantly.

Carnage and Riot were definitely stronger than Venom by all means, but he really underestimated himself. He's clearly weaker than Carnage because he never had a chance to eat human brains and chickens aren't efficient sources nor is chocolate. They satiate his hunger for a while but human brains have the good stuff. Carnage devoured many in a short span of time thereby he grew much stronger than he already was. Despite being malnourished to some degree, and lacking power, he did great to keep up and even damage Carnage.

I believe in the comics Carnage the Symbiote doesn't have his own mind, so it's more just a single being in the driver's seat as opposed to two. Thus he doesn't have to care about working with his host, since...Carnage is the host.

That scene when Venom lowered Anne reminded me of the Spider-Man 3 scene when Parker got rid of the symbiote and it latched on to Eddie when he was praying. God I miss it and don't miss it.

Gotta love these details: 1:44 where both were going for the heads but venom tried to outsmart him by punching him in the gut but carnage thinks too fast and trapped his arm in his body. 3:26 venom retreated faster than Carnage symbiote indicating that Carnage is more durable than him Plus he got up first easily whereas Eddie was struggling to get up

Cletus and Carnage were a perfect match in the comics as they bonded all the way together. Eddie and Venom were just a good pairing.

It’s interesting that these iterations of symbiotes don’t actually change your mood, so we could have Tom Holland one day wear a symbiote and not become a jackass like other Spider-Men

Clearly the writers of the Venom movies have never read a Venom Comic. Eddie and the Other are mentally almost the same person, and really like each other.

I love the visuals, especially the symbiote transformations

I still feel that with as much as Eddie ends up having to fight people, both in the films and the comics Eddie Really should invest in some personal defense classes or something similar so if venom gets spooked by sound or whatever Eddie isn't completely defenseless.

Moral high grounds is what creates killers from ignorance. The villains at least mean and intend what they do.

Say what you like about this movie, but in terms of visual effects and sound effects it's absolutely gorgeous.

Awesome showdown between these two iconic symbiotes .

@@supdookie after Eddie gets cancer and loses venom he still has a little bit bonded in his blood cells or something. He gets healed by Mr negative and it causes a reaction that turns him into "anti venom" he has symbiote powers without their weaknesses and he can cure poisons and detoxify

@@Stando-User anti-venom is just eddie brock. anti-venom isn't really a symbiote, its more like a suit with symbiote powers. and i dont think eddie is a good guy when he has anti-venom, not sure haven't actually read the comic.

Is it just me who feels Venom's humour is really underrated? 😂😂 I mean he got me cracking up soo many times

I love how after Venom retreats back inside Eddie, Cletus gives him a moment to talk, including shifting back into himself after having turned into Carnage no less then 10 seconds ago.

i love how 7:38 was an ode to gwen and andrews spiderman
