I'm sooooo confused about where he lives. I mean his "grandads" property looks to be hundreds of acres including desert, a volcano cone, old rock quarries, but yet multiple times he has made a "quick" trip into town to Wal-Mart. He lives somewhere or somehow is licensed to get grenades, Machine guns, rocket launchers and more

I'm not demolitions expert, but I'm pretty sure that it is impossible to detonate a grenade with a burning fuse. It's pressure activated from a detonator. Otherwise when releasing the spoon the chemical delay fuse for the detonator could probably set off the grenade without the delay.

This is correct. M67's use Comp B which is a TNT/RDX mix. The plasticizers in the RDX desensitize the TNT to flame. Much like C-4, it will burn but not detonate. That requires a blasting cap. Also the fuse you see him remove appears to be expended already. Grenade fuses are 3in long and extended just past the center point for a uniform detonation.

Yes but detonators could be build to be isolated from the charge to not set it off prematurely.

The safety pin gets removed, the firing pin strikes the primer, the primer ignites the time fuse, after about 5 secs the fuse burns into the detonator, the detonator detonates the primary explosive used in the grenade. 💥

A grenade will not explode with a cannon fuse it requires an ignition source such as a blasting cap or real complete grenade fuse which produces both heat and pressure. I always thought your grenades looked rather sketchy. But, it is entertaining nonetheless, Merry Christmas. 🎄

Composition B, the explosive component of the M67, cannot be set off with a fuse. The dioctyl sebacate plasticizer serves to desensitize the RDX/TNT. I am betting you hid a binary charge in the car.

That was not a complete fuse it had already been used and that was a prop grenade.
