It cut the corn down clean instantly and the moan from all those men getting hit at once was remembered as something unworldly. This was easily one of your best videos. The slo mo work was spectacular. I was astonished that the lead slug stayed together so well. And that safe was pretty tough. Great video.

"Think punt gun times twenty." Think your brain times 0, because those canons didnt put as much velocity on those projectiles as punt gun, especially that they werent shot at fkin 50y or less range. So it was MUCH WEAKER, times twenty weaker.

@@DK-gy7llHe probably should invest in one of those magnetic workshop brooms that is basically a trolley with a high powered magnet to pick up anything even remotely magnetic. It won't help for lead, porcelain, concrete, glass or aluminium, but fragments of steel it would definitely help. Maybe running a shop vac over the area after a magnetic broom isn't an entirely stupid idea.

Might be new favorite video of Fury, Scott. Nearly tipping over a safe is just nuts. Then the last one, three layers of your railroad ties shifted a great deal! Man that is some serious power! If only you’d hold off on your arm days in the gym before the Fury videos so we could watch you shoulder it. 😂

Awesome how each shot gets a rise out of Scott. Some things just never get old!

Scott, I just want to say thank you. You are kind of like one of the few firearms standup comedians on You Tube and I love the way you connect guns with humor instead of politics and social tragedy. Fun video, Though I will say that on the first 1lb Lead Ball shot, it looks to me that the ball went through the door of the safe, and then nailed the barrel of the wood furniture shotgun dead center, and then broke into two pieces to make the double exit hole in the back of the safe. It perfectly explains just how bent up that shotgun' barrel got ... and I gotta say, that's a helluva shot to hit the barrel dead effing center of the thickest, and toughest part of that shotgun AFTER going though a Steel and Concrete door. And the remains of the second ball that got caught between the railroad ties would make a great paperweight and conversation starter.

Punt gun slow motion is my favorite thing on this channel. You hear a little "pong" of the hammer falling followed by massive explosion. It is almost cartoonish.

Reminds me of my school trip to a state park here in AZ where the rangers showed off their collection of "Flock guns" (punt Guns with trumpeted barrels) that they confiscated back in the day. In the 90s they broke them out to fight the Pigeon Apocalypse before the falcons were reintroduced! Pigeons nearly drove all the native wildlife to extinction...

I live in the UK, some years ago I was visiting the Royal Armories museum in Leeds (can recommend, great museum and entry is free, as with most UK museums) and they also have some punt guns on exhibition. I read all the info boards, fascinated and a bit sad that I never would have the chance to see one of them fired. Fast forward a few years and there's Scott, with a punt gun, firing it at whatnot and making my dream come true. I've wanted to leave a comment since the very first video with Fury (I remember seeing the thumbnail and thinking "no way, a punt gun" even before reading the video title), today I finally do (might actually be my very first comment on KZread, don't remember ever writing one before). Thanks Scott! ps.: how about loading Fury with a solid steel or brass ball? Something more solid than lead?

Watching KB's videos has been a huge resource for gun safety for my young men. These videos document the power and destruction of firearms, which created a great sense of respect and healthy fear.

When Scott aimed between the keyhole and the handle of the safe and hit in the middle...reminds me of playing Cricket and aiming between the 20 and the 18 and getting a triple 1.

This guy is having way too much fun in life. It's not fair to the test of us...

For the solid shot he said 1/4 pound of powder. 11:42 But did not specify the brand or grain size.

If i see how easy he puts the safe on the trolley then its definitely not the best safe. Its at best 2mm steel plate over an IKEA closet. But what a beast is that punt gun.

You should put the punt gun right up to one of those holes and use the safe as a suppressor

Holy crap the damage from the golf balls was astounding!

Why the slide? That just reduces the force going out of the barrel. I suggest putting 300 lbs counter weight with friction. That would ensure the projectiles have no cushion. As it's set up now. You might only be getting half the force the gun can produce... I would recommend a hard stop. Gun can't move. If that's a danger to the gun, that's when I suggest the counter weight system. That thing is just getting the force cut alot when the gun jumps backwards. Basic physics.

@boloMK24 apologies he said the 1 bore was 200 lbs or so kick force. Explosives 101. The force will be propelled much greater, if it has nowhere to go. That's why when we're blasting 2.5 inch rock. The charges have to be a certain distance apart, and the holes a certain depth. The holes are then packed with rock, so the last had nowhere to go but toward eachother. If your proprlosimgmis corre t we should be able to blast the same size rock without parking the holes. All you get are empty mortars... the rock might shatter into gaint slabs, but you won't get any rock the size you want. The counter weight would have to be much greater than what I said before...

@anweshd84 well, it came out of my head, and I failed physics. However, from my understanding, gravity only pulls at a constant force. The gun may be heavy, but it's still not staying still when it's being fired. The counter weight would be a pulley attached to steel cable that ties back to the gun mount, increasing the forward pressure by alot. To truly know, imagine a large concrete bench. On top, it has a slot for this gun. Strap the barrel down onto a softblock. (For aim and no damage to the barrel.) When you shoot, the gun can't move back at all, or up or down. All force is directed outward like a claymore mine. This setup is more similar to setting your rifle on your truck bed, not holding the handle and tickling the trigger. It may be because the amount of recoil far exceeds the materials ability to take the hit. In the most simple terms if the gun can't be set against a Boulder and fired from the side. I recommend the pulley system. It will work like a spring and more closely resemble a shoulder during recoil. If the gun can move back, we are not seeing its true power. Opposite and equal reaction thing. The gun moved 6 feet back. That ate the velocity of the actual rounds. You might be able to find it somewhere. Maybe youtube physics of large caliber recoil. You might see the concept im talking about.
