+Coldacre most people don't even know who Irons is OR that he was the original drummer for RHCP. when you ask most people who the original members are they say Flea, Anthony, John and Chad. lmao. most people don't listen to Fight Like A Brave Era RHCP with Hillel and Irons. it's just not popular.

As a chili peppers fan and I really love the band, I would say that their earlier work with Slovak and Irons and etc isn't on the same level as everything they put out SBSM and forward. The only exception is One Hot Minute which is slightly mediocre in comparison to what albums would follow. Mothers Milk was good but not the best and songs like Fight like a Brave and Stone Cold Bush and even older stuff musically isn't as good as like She looks to Me or californication or Venice Queen for example. Their older stuff is great but not their best and Chad is their best drummer and Frusciante is their best guitarist.

+Uber montity I never said their earlier stuff is their best work or that Hillel and Irons were better. I just said that most don't know that their older stuff even exists. I personally like fight like a brave Era RHCP but that's cause I like how funky and raw it is. their later stuff is a little more polished cause their skills have obviously improved. lmao

This explains everything because at my school, there’s a poster of RHCP and I thought Chad was Will Ferrell
