James Blunt is out of this world. IT wasn't a prank. IT was a outstanding performance. You can hear IT in the moment When everyone stopped clapping. He had that kind of silence that you could hear a pin dropped in the audience... And you can see IT on the judges faces When James was singing.... And for that brief moment that studio was magically transformed in a Concert hall....

I have to agree with you in some aspects except I think Jimmy’s voice is a tiny bit higher pitched than Michael’s is but not much. Michael’s voice has this crispy element to it that Jimmy’s voice slightly lacks. But Jimmy still has a really good singing voice. I was pleasantly surprised when he started singing. I loved it.

Jessie hitting that note gave me chills. Blunts emotion was killer i was locked into his eyes full circle❤

James Blunt - one of the few artists you just have to watch live. The emotions, intensity & hand movements can't be captured on just audio

Rita Ora has really grown on me overs years. She really is a great artist. Also, Jess Glynne is highly underrated!

The energy Blunt sings with is just inspiring.

Starting a sentence with "The fact..." You know someone's trying to be sophisticated but lacks vocabulary.

2:32 - Crazy that you can actually see him tearing up as he sings. Just shows you he isn't just singing for the sake of singing like a lot of singers do. Whatever he's singing about it real, means a lot to him, and he puts all his emotion into whatever he sings. It could be the lighting, but I don't think it is.

I feel for you. I came out of a very short relationship and she totally cut me off out of the blue. Was extremely painful so can't imagine what you're going. I honestly don't know how people write songs about heartbreak either. All it does is immortalise the pain. You'll never forget it, never let go. I thought about it but you can't devote so much time and emotion to something hurtful as it just keeps giving it more life. You have to totally close that chapter however long it takes. I wish for your healing.

The fact that they turned around for Jimmy Fallon’s actual singing voice. Pleasantly surprised 😂 Edit: I’ve had about 100 replies telling me it’s staged, I know 😂and also I know he’s doing impersonations of other people. It still sounds good 😂

Hate to break it to you, but that was Jimmy Fallon doing his (quite famous) impression of Michael McDonald. It wasn't his natural voice. His 'natural' voice is actually better. He, Jack Black, and Paul Rudd do send ups of musical groups together quite often. They can all legitimately sing. 😊

It's great that they also come on stage and sing. It shows that they are truely talented and great singers. 🤩

The emotion behind Jimmy's performance had me in tears. He has the most unique voice and he really believes the words he's singing.

James Blunts performance was so moving. He almost brought himself to tears. 😢 I wish that was the full song because no other live version touches that one....believe me....ive checked

I’m actually so buzzing to watch James Blunt in April. His voice is so good.

Jessie J was so obvious. I have never heard anyone sound like her. Her runs and vocal control are unrivaled. I would have known after the first note it was her

That also wasn't a prank, she was one of the judges when she did that so everyone already knew she was the one that was going to sing.

I looked her up. Seems like she goes through producers and record companies quickly all due to "disagreements". Great singer but maybe a little difficult.

@@txlivin7819 It's also possible that she's less willing than others to compromise artistically. I've heard of artists who are apparently complete jerks that haven't been dropped by their record companies, so unless she's REAAAALLLY difficult I would reckon it's more the former than the latter.

James Blunts "audition" was the best on that day when the episode aired. If I remember correctly it was his first live performance in 2 years due to Covid. So he was very emotional himself. Nico Santos has always the best faces while turning around xD Also that song was always dope. I cant believe that this song is also almost 20 years old... I feel old.

Good Lord I felt like James Blunt transported me right into his situation. I could feel every bit of emotion he wrote that song with. I felt like I was right there saying Goodbye with him. Even the band behind him just sat there amazed. Along with the judges and the audience

Every time I watch James Blunt perform that song I can tell in his eyes he means every word of it.

James Blunt will always be the choice for most underrated star of all time. Very talented and deserves recognition.
