WILL ARP STUDS FIX MY ISSUE?.. LET THE DATA TALK.. HONDA D16

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hi Folks,
So yeah head been lifting on my budget built Civic D16.
I used EBAY Head studs on my build but data showed me i was lifting the head. over pressurisong the coolant system.
I tried some Genuine ARP head studs to see if it will solve my issue and use datalogs to show you the result.
hope you enjoy

D16 (etc) is an Open deck block design ! it's NOT the cyl studs that is the real Problem. Cyls... Can and D o wiggle ! H Gasket has no hope of sealing under more that Stock loadings. Need to fit a cyl locating girdle and weld it in.

@@BEYTEK ish, I think it doesn't work like that, a hurt gasket it's not a new gasket, try idle at operating temp with the radiator cap off and see if it bubbles, just because you don't see collant pressure cruising doesn't mean the gasket it sealing. The radiator cap just has enough flow to ventilate the air into the reservoir, but full throttle that little hose can't keep up
