I own a 2018 Type R, in Sporty Blue. The car is such a joy to drive, handling is absolutely spot on. The gearbox is wonderful and from 2500rpm it just keeps pulling till 7000rpm. I hope the 2022 will be just as wonderful to drive.

@@greymark420 So i was test driving the Type R at his release two years ago and it was genious. I did buy the Focus RS because of his four wheel drive. I dont regret it. But i have the Type R on my list :-D

this car is so underrated. You can tune it so easy to get 370hp and then you have one of the last modern cars that makes you as a driver work to get it right, and being a civic you know its reliable and cheap to service.

I have a 403hp fk2. I absolutely love it. Its a bit of an animal on the b roads. You really have to stay concentrated because its so quick and responsive.

Optimal shift from 5th to 6th was at 230Kmh 🤣 What an incredible car. A little pricey. But incredible!! 👍

You should...But bare in mind it's hard riding...set up for the track, even in normal mode. Love mine, and keeping it stock.

Good decision to get rid of the "pops and bangs", in my view. It would annoy the heck out of me. But the (other) upgrades done to this FK2 are awesome. Love it.

This is everywhere now. And I love cars, ICE motors, loud exhaust. But when I see stock none turbo civics and even other none turbo cars going down the road popping and banging I just laugh. I give turbo cars some More leniency. But in general I don't like software that does it in purpose if a car does it in small amounts by itself that's cool. there's a bone stock 2.0 B7 A4 that's straight piped. I see the car a lot and it pops and bangs and goes absolutely nowhere, lol. pointless in my opinion. when I want some pops and bangs I use the two-step real quick for a few pops. but come on not every shift and every off throttle deacceleration.

Same, time to save some money to get one.

Even the normal Civics of that era have good gearboxes. Short throw, tactile feel. Really nice. I like my automatic Accord, but I don't mind driving the parents' Civic.

Really like the look of these FK2, bloody fast too.

The Dutch accent is great (vind leuk man).

Always love v8s but this thing has something that does it for me

Yes, they tuned it perfectly to have almost no torque steer, but now you can see he has to fight it.

@@nox1cous654 torque steer is not for everyone. But I enjoy it. It makes it more playful. I suppose those that don’t would prefer to be in a awd automatic who wants a linear and boring I dare to call it drive. Sometimes it’s not how fast you get there. But how much fun you had getting there.

A friend o' mine got one stage 2+ : Decat + Remus straight exaust + intercooler + new pop off valve + upgraded injectors + ecu remap on 100 octane fuel. The car is a FUCKIN BEAST ( 410hp on dyno ) The emotions driving it are INSANE :O

I’m confused. I thought these specific civics only came in right hand drive since they were only released in Europe and Japan. The one in the video is left hand drive. Could you explain that to me?

my father has the same car, stock 310 hp. I was allowed to drive it, lovely car. Really fast. Father told me to floor it, put it in r mode, i was in second gear and soon enough i was at 150 kmh in a 80 zone xD. But than i immediatly slowed down because i was just not used to that speed. I really like that car :D

iv got a 2003 Honda accord Euro (australian TSX) and i did ecu update and some performance mods and i have 200hp now and it should pretty good and i get the crackle and pops but not as loud as that sadly. i wanna get some proper vids of it driving by and on roads since iv had 3 other modded euro drivers say i have the most diffrent and best sounding euro they seen in aus.

@@dustyowl99 10hp more, FK8 has softer seats, FK8 has 3 level of stiffness for the suspension, FK8 has more fake vents, FK2 is way more rare than the FK8 and well, that’s really it. Of course a little interior and exterior work, but that’s the main things

@@dustyowl99 there’s basically soft, medium and the R-Mode which is hard. You can switch between them. Personally i think it’s unnecessary. I own a FK2 and it just got 2 modes. You can daily drive and sporty drive in the normal mode. R-Mode is really for the track. If you think about buying one of these, I’d go for the FK2. It’s way more rare, it runs better and has more „sports“ in it. Back doors are hidden as well. FK2 can do 290 km/h stock, didn’t see an FK8 doing it.

Watching this makes me miss my R, fastest I hit on the autobanh was 245kmh
