You are brave. ❤️ Thank you for sharing. As a wife of a veteran, ptsd is real and does affect a family in so many ways.

Veterans aren’t the only ones with PTSD. The general public has no sympathy or care for folks living with ptsd, veteran or not. Sadly we all try reaching out and no one cares. The resources are lacking. 988 is useless.

As a Vet, I’m gonna say this. The US government owes us dearly for those long stupid wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. So to my fellow vets, make sure you take all the money and resources the US government owes you through the VA, that way in the future they think twice about getting involved in a war that had no clear mission. The government should just give all war vets a home, monthly allowance for life, full medical/dental, and free school for us and our children without question, this should just happen. It pisses me off to see homeless vets or vets that still are fighting an internal battle with mental health, it affects us and our families.

And you wounder why enlistment numbers are down! It's time for the VA to do their mother-lovin job! Provide quality healthcare benefits to ALL Veteran's that were promised in their enlistment/commissioning contracts.

Sure would be nice if we had some sort of medication to slightly calm the nervous system.... mental healthcare in America is atrocious, regardless what your job is/was.

God loves you and takes care of you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this great universe and has complete control over it. And the greatest loss that a person loses in this life is that he lives while he does not know God who created him, knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. The great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and then you have the choice to believe in it or not. I advise you on this now before you do not have time to do that.
