Not yet. I used to draw more, but I really only draw for my concepts for these models now. And a lot of what I do is strictly digital, though I'm keeping the resolution very high so that I can (possibly?) do something with it in the future.

This is lovely! I know I'm 8 months late with this, but if you need an idea for a future build, maybe a follow-up would be cool, of a fully grown enormous orange tree with what remains of the now long broken walker underneath/entangled in the roots, having never found a place to plant it but always having kept it safe and nourished
@SPQRKlio

Or a small grove of young orange trees scattered around it...? The lore story broke my heart (in a good way), and I want to imagine a happy ending for the tree (and happy-ish for the walker having unknowingly fulfilled its duty). I do have to applaud the power of leaving it open for us to feel compelled to complete the rest of the story! 🙂

@@SPQRKlioYeah, I kind of saw a trail of little orange trees wherever an orange fell off the back of the walker. Maybe have a map as backdrop for a future build showing the journey of the walker across the country with little orange icon for all the new trees that spramg up along the way.
So many different levels of artistry. Even just your voiceover is entertaining.
35 seconds into the first video on your channel, aaaand: SUBSCRIBED! I'm throughoutly impressed by the quality of your videos, Eric. - The build itself is both creative and impressive. - The fact that it's story driven is just genius. And the way you introduce it, bit by bit, just works. - Your narrator style does everything justice, by being both informative and funny. I spurted out a loud laugh, when you mixed the basing material. All in all, your channel and its content is a true gem, and I felt like taking the time to comment on the video and let you know! Best regards, Casper

Awesome work. Apologies if someone else has said this, but another way to get rid of bubbles in epoxy is if you place the epoxy into a vacuum tank and pull the bubbles out yet way. It should make it a lot quicker and less labour intensive for you.

I need to channel some of this diorama energy of yours. I'm looking at building a Contemptor Dreadnought, but not in a fighting pose. I want it to represent the fragmented remaining humanity behind the soul locked inside the walking coffin. I want him sitting or kneeling and taking care of bonzai trees. If you want some good spray paint that has a proper matte try blackboard paint.
I may admit the fact you made a creative robot Walker one like the Walker staying long enough on the swamp at the point the tree start to grow on his back or the top one
This whole series is such a cool concept.

The way in which you find the most random of junk, that we overlook as just "stuff" you however find clever ways in which to use them. Pen ink tubes and lids for that water measuring idea, pen tips for exhausts. So damned clever.

When I saw you put the pen caps for exhaust vents I literally said "whoa" out loud cus it works so well. The design of this bot kinda makes me think of a Robot World Turtle or to the youngins, the pokemon Torterra Idk if it's possible or how it could be done. But I think water ripples where the walker's legs are would add a bit of motion. That it is walking through the swamp and disturbing the area. Less it is just sitting there forever.
@gameyybuilds

I did consider that, as I tried something similar with Mabbit riding the Djogarri, but in the end I opted to just have it standing idly to show that it's been there for a while as it siphons up water and filters it slowly for the tree. I kind of like the fact that it feels so still and serene!
I bet those oranges taste amazing
That very same brand and consistency of superglue is the stuff of my nightmares. When I first bought a bottle for my own crafting videos, my clumsy ass spilled it all over my work area. Not only did it give off deadly acrid white fumes (which I could actually SEE), I ended up gluing my thumb and forefinger together for a good half hour before I could get them apart again. Respect CA glue, people. It is not to be trifled with.

You should check out vacuum tubing at an auto parts store. Really small sizes are available and its flexible and resistant to kinking. Well, really small by ordinary standards. Usually made out of EPDM which is a great rubber but doesn't like oil (no oil paints. Gates brand is the best for cars and for you imo, but it has a greasy coating. I think that with a line painted down the side and some fake branding and specifications would make for some amazing hydraulic hoses. During and after rain, check out the trash or ask an employee for some old wiper blades if that auto parts store changes them. Wiper blade adapters, most of which must be thrown out, look very... greeble-y. The adapters are the bits that are at the bottom of the packaging. During the earliest hot weather and during the hottest weather, check the trash for air conditioning refrigerant adapters and hoses. They're reusable but most just toss them after charging their car's AC. They have a lot of fiddly plastic and metal bits. I know it sounds super ghetto, but this stuff is usually right on top trash (this sounds so dumb as i'm writing this). Honestly, if you walked in and told the staff you're looking through the trash for adapters, they'd just assume you used to work there and was trying to save a a few dollars on a simple fix. In fact, they'd probably tell you where to look.

These are awesome tips! I actually just purchased a bunch of silicone tubing, which I assume is similar to the rubber you mentioned. But great suggestion in checking with the local auto place for greeblies!

Another thing. IRL, around where i live, (mid atlantic region of the US) abandoned equipment will have lichens growing over paint and moss growing over any rubber, like weather stripping and exposed hoses. There is an distinct difference between the two surfaces. This will occur even if there is no appreciable dirt or detritus covering it. I don't think i've ever seen this done quite right in mass media.

@@gameyybuilds The electrical connectors and light bulb sockets are quite greebly too, but most are expensive. Some of the extremely common ones can be had for $5-8. Junkyards will have them for cheaper, but plastic that's old enough to vote is usually very brittle. One last thing; check out the plastic rivets and fasteners. There is an insane amount of diversity in plastic fasteners for the automotive industry. If you find something you like or might need again, write down the part number! The entire auto parts industry revolves around part numbers.
Amazing creation
