Yeah i agree, he's a clever mo fo. Like, he created the world of Aegis, and the language they use. This on it's own is clever cos its a heiroglyphic language too but he also draws and paints the designs, makes the models without a kit and it all looks super professional. I've also seen him do 3D modelling on the computer and use a 3D printer. Then there's the stories that go with the world and things he's created. Very clever, I feel a little stupid ha ha.

So cool to see Rai in a bigger role! I love how you've written her and other blind characters getting accommodations and assistive devices rather than having some kind of magical technology that makes her blindness insignificant, it feels like something I don't see enough with disabled characters in speculative fiction.

I’m continually amazed at your unparalleled skill with words. So easily do your short stories entrance me with their melodic descriptions that they sprout in my mind the vivid worlds you craft both with your scalpel and with the rich detail you spin. Thick with realism and brimming with a luscious uniqueness (no different from your builds), your short stories somehow weave so much world-building wonder (and creeping horror in today’s case) and characterization rich with humanity into the most minute and unassuming encounters. So too are you a master of your linguistic craft as you are adept at kitbashing. Bravo

My favorite part about your builds are the way you tackle humanity, there's a lot of humanity to every being, creature, mechs, the blight itself.... How every character seem to project their humanity into something, that's just so amazing! It is almost as if all of them were looking for a single thing, connection, even if you are just a little lighthouse, left to your surroundings, or a simulation, controlled by a real person!

Probably the first model I don’t like…. But I love the video, the time, the effort, the skill, the STORY! You’re a master of your craft. The story shook me. Giving the pilot artificial intelligence. It sensed and comprehended emotion. It knew it was incomplete and it understood enough about the current world situation to be able to assign its forgetfulness to The Blight. It even understood the girls eyes being blind. That created so much sadness in me, especially when it was *reset*. Thanks for being awesome and sharing your awesomeness.

Masterful storytelling as ever, and a wonderful build! The entire time I was thinking "there's no way, it'll just look like the base plane" but I was very wrong!

A simulation! Nice little twist for the end! I guess Aegis engineers had perfected AI computer programs and simulations long ago, if they have made it to other worlds and since Aegis is only now sparsely populated by those too poverty stricken to leave the Planet to move to a more hospitable planet or moon out into Deep space. The leftover Technology is of immense value to these Human left-overs, adapting it and altering its use in ways that the original creators had never thought of. This is what I love about your building and creating. You had always intended to create a whole little universe for your building, it's just that along the way you were convinced by your viewers and fans that you needed to write a dedicated book for Aegis! As always I am profoundly impressed by your creativeness and low key Sci-Fi, just as practically everyone else is who regularly views/watches your videos. I'd be willing to be a test reader/editor for your project, I am not an experienced editor, professionally anyway. but I can offer more than 50 years of reading experience and a sometimes-passionate desire to reach into the books of some rather inexperienced authors and try to get them to reword some of the compositions to be more fluidic for the reader so they didn't have to re-read the sentence structure an extra time or two to make sense of it. but if you are looking for professional editors, then I completely understand, and won't be offended if I never hear from you. I'll go over to your website and fill in the relative data to see if you are at all interested in me helping you. Once again, amazing work and.....thank you, for sharing it with us. You have found an incredible way to help support yourself, do your own personalized creation style and share it with the world, which is a dream for many of us, as there is always a price that needs to be paid for such creation to be exposed to the world, which is the ever-present and constant pressure for more. More of everything!

Hey Gamey Builds. You mentioned how a drill press would be really convenient for your drilling of components for your builds. I don't know if you already Know this, but Dremel built a Drill press for their motor tool a long time ago and should still be available to buy. And if you are as much as an avid builder of models like me, you more than likely have more than one Dremel tool so one can be mounted into the small drill press and the other can be left free for use by hand. the Dremel press as I call it is quite small and does not take up nearly as much room as even a desktop dedicated drill press. And if you only have one Dremel, don't worry, as the Dremel tool is only mounted into the press by a few thumb screws. I highly recommend this drill press as it is light, small and perfect for scale model building like you and I build although, if you have the space for it, it would be best to screw the Dremel press down to a work surface because of its size and weight, it will tip over, or move while you are trying to use it. you should be able to find it in a local sore around you, if not, I would suggest the local buy and sell section of your newspaper or online equivalent.

I’m sure you have amazing plans but I’ve been wondering about the underground city’s described earlier in the series, perhaps a dive deep underground as it would provide an interesting challenge for lighting and structuring!

was just watching your little flee video for what must be the fifth time and wanted to ask something here so you might notice it. Were you always this creative? how do you get the ideas for something when you arent getting any lightbulb moments? how do you keep up so much consistency/ do you work another job? please feel free to answer any, or none of these questions! love from australia

Thanks! Yeah, KZread is just a side hustle for me at the moment, not my full time work. As for ideas, I'm inspired by whatever junk I have lying around, and generally go into a project with a very rough idea of either the vehicle/building/location I'm trying to depict, or the story I'm wanting to tell, then use the pieces I have on hand to bridge the gap. Sometimes the idea doesn't come right away, but with enough experimentation, something usually comes out that's relatively interesting!

There is often a tendency in the KZread comments section towards unwarranted superlatives and hyperbole, so I feel compelled to say that I genuinely love your videos and the work you do.

Very much ready for the release! :D Loved this episode! The how-to info is always neat and it was a great cover for the nifty bit of story! No complaints about the music, but I really felt the big gut sinking feeling from the last two tracks from Jed Palmer's score "Upgrade" fit this great as well. Tracks 13 - Stem is the one 14 - A Better place
