@@fenneclord9581 the Milky Way was called that because it looked like a milky band in the sky. People in other galaxies are probably going to name theirs the same thing in their language, or some other liquid way. Star Wars is smart enough to not call the Milky Way the Milky Way. They call their galaxy just “the galaxy” even as that is the most agreed term for it.

Nope. In Legends, there were Witches on Dathomir before even the Je'daii Order was founded. The 'modern' Witches were refounded by a semi-Fallen Jedi called Allya who was exiled there 600 BBY, and set about creating a book of the law. On her deathbed, she repented and realised she had ensured the enslavement of her sons, and so set about using her influence on her daughters to rebalance and return to the Light. It worked... sort of.

This basically confirms my own theory that nightsister magik is apart of or connected to the force but branches off or is adjacent to the the force enough to be its own sepetate thing thus why it's so unique but probably not the only magik thst exist in the star wars galaxy or universe.

Hopefully Disney isn’t stupid enough to use the Vong yet. In legends, the Vong were the literary answer to the question, can anyone actually defeat Master Luke and his new Jedi order? They had overcome every challenge. It actually was starting to get kinda boring watching the Jedi doing so well. But that all changed with the Vong. They brought stress back into the stories that was desperately needed. I say bring the Vong 20+ years after Rey builds her order. Once the order seems unstoppable, then the Vong should be thrown in to decimate their numbers.

Remember this wouldn’t break legends or canon. As the force in the mainline galaxy acts like the bendu. Lifting and pushing, and how the force interacts with the universe. While certain planets and orders wield life based powers like the ones of mortis. How the force moves between two things. For thawne’s species the force is expressed in skywalking. How to see the galaxy and a natural connection to hyperspace While others are only aware of force visions of the future and past. And are connected to the world between worlds And for some it expresses as good luck or random chance like Han Solo Magik is the universe’s connection to death and decay, that is stronger with a certain element present that could have been brought over from another galaxy. Thus this doesn’t break any form of canon, extended or Disney

I think the reason Thrawn can call to Morgan is because there are no midichlorians in Peridia - after all, why would they evolve over there as well as in the main galaxy? Surely evolution couldn't produce the same thing twice. They can't teleport or anything, they're bound to the best transport their hosts have and clearly The Path To Peridia isn't very well known so idk how midichlorians could populate both galaxies. The midiclorians want to return back to the galaxy they belong in, and even with the few Thrawn has, they grant him power he couldn't have in the main galaxy. Kinda like Superman. This would probs make Ezra a fuckin behemoth over there too - unless of course they have their own version that trumps ours. I'm no theorist tho, these just be shower thoughts

Convergent evolution. And, in any case, evolution can produce multiple instances of an organ or ability. Example, eyes. They've evolved at least 10 different times from entirely separate organisms, but in most every case have ended up similar in function. So, midichlorians could've evolved separately in different galaxies and served pretty much the same purpose.

It could be the Rakatan that live in the other galaxy. Andor established the Rakatan as invaders but didn’t specifically say where they invaded or came from. It’s reasonable to assume if they haven’t been altered too much from Legends then they’d have had the ability to travel the distance using hyperspace & if they taught the Nightsisters how to access the force then it’s safe to say the Nightsisters were taught by masters of the dark side.

So much like the Mandalorians.. cuz according to Cannon from the show.. if remember right, unless there's a recon not aware of didn't Palpatine's Era Empire basically wipe them out. Just like he did to the Geonosisans, Alderaanians an tried to do an almost succeeded, with the Mandalorians? But thought these was basically a successful genocide. If so still HOW does people suddenly pop up that KNOW all this... Seems like "meh" riding an they know less due to them being "nightsister" associated an more like plot god directed. An dunno if we can trust even a Vong esk sorta story arc here. Since Disney does what it wants an only seems to have been getting it right lately when you see shows like Mandalorian an Andor or Rogue One.. we see a Vong War like THAT a Vong (via Disney) Arc MIGHT actually work... Doubt it though since they'd screwed up big already with no Luke an no Han now.. not even a Leia really

As an idea quite interesting. But I can´t believe that it is totally true. I don´t think there are really that many kinds/sides of the Force. It is not even safe that the light and the dark side really exist in that way or how much of that is kind of a reaction of the Force to the believes of the people. Isn´t it in the High Republic even like that that the Force reacts a tiny bit different to EVERYBODY? So all in all the magic of the Nightsisters is probably more of a cultural thing. But that culture could have it´s roots in this other galaxy and with the Peridians. Maybe they were actually even just the first Humans in the Star Wars Galaxy. We don´t have a Home Planet for them which we can be sure about, right? And the Peridians kinda look like Humans and the Nightsisters look like or are Humans, too.

Not sure if it's legends or just some side story, but the humans of the Star Wars galaxy are not native to there. In the story, they came from Earth, circa 2090, via a wormhole. They were members of an asteroid colony that were fleeing from a tyrannical government on Earth that ruled the Solar System. Apparently, they were in the process of flying the colony out of the Solar System when they ran into this wormhole and were flung out of the Galaxy and back through time. When they arrived in the Star Wars galaxy, they started to spread out to various systems but were quickly subdued and taken into slavery by the early Rakatans or those that had enslaved the Rakatans to begin with. Not sure of that part of the story. But, anyway, they were then dispersed about the galaxy and some ended up on Coruscant (or, the world that would eventually be named that) and various other planets. Apparently, Corellia was named after the pilot of the asteroid, an Italian woman who was captain of the asteroid. It took some time before humans began to exhibit a connection to the force as well, so I'd say the ability was already there within the humans before they got there, but it took time in the Star Wars galaxy before the force became enhanced to the point they could wield it. And, not everyone were equally sensitive. So, that may mean that the force was present in our own galaxy but wasn't expressed in any way and just remained a latent ability. At least in humans, that is. And that, they say, is history...at least for the Star Wars galaxy.

No there’s different methods in using the Force The Sith have their own Dark Side sorcery The Nightsisters had their own approach to the Force, channeled by their connection to nature, usually their home planet where they’re at their strongest But still at least Morgan seems aware of another galaxy and a civilization that resides there, that once came to the Star Wars galaxy One would think it’s the Yuuzhan Vong, but they in Legends despise inorganic technology Seems a totally new civilization is at play here, maybe a reference to the Rakata Empire in Legends but we don’t know enough to know for sure What is sure is that after the Battle of Lothal Thrawn and Ezra Bridger was sent to another galaxy for over a decade And Morgan is utilizing knowledge of the lost civilization, as her people seemed to be aware of them, to bring Thrawn Back

You’re completely wrong about the Vong and they’re affinity to the force. Even though it was a little bit out in left field as far as Star Wars was concerned, even back, then with all the novels coming out, I really fell in love with that addition to the universe. That being said, knowing very well, that one of the reasons they hated the Jedi was because of the Jedi’s ability to touch the force, the force that they no longer could touch because when they lost their living planet and they lost their symbiosis with it, they lost their connection to the force. They were force sensitive. And one of the biggest characters in it ended up being a shunned member of their society which ended up being who held the supreme rulers puppet strings. 1990 to 2004 was by far my favourite part of Star Wars Canon, which is no longer considered Star Wars canon but Star Wars legend. Disney is just lazy and wanted to do their own thing. Same thing with marvel and Spider-Man. But I’m also glad that when you enter the spider verse everyone of those Spider-Man characters is now a part of Canaan and that’s amazing. It’s a cheat and cheap but it’s still cool. I wish Disney would get their act together. Do you know the fact that Lucas had to agree to sign off and give consent to every novel written, making it all canon?… just because a Disney decided to buy Lucas films doesn’t mean they should get to dictate what is an isn’t Star Wars Cannon. But I digress. As an old-school original movie, theatre goer, Star Wars fanatic I don’t consider anything Disney is done as Canon if it gears away from what George Lucas already approved and made Canaan. Just because he allows Disney the freedom to re-create Canaan doesn’t mean that the old stuff is no longer cannon I get it they have two separate ways. Legend, and Cannon. And they did that just to appease old school fanatics like me. But it didn’t appease old-school fanatics like me all it did was make me stop watching it religiously… but Disney definitely announced that they were trying to attract a new and different audience when they bought everything and said that they had nine films coming out that they planned. But talk about a century of new book to be able to be written movies to be made do you know how many Skywalker‘s died fighting the species in the books and how many years the war went on? Only to have a semi happy ending and the Empire return with a vengeance. It wasn’t the same old, same old, recycled, nonsense and spice things up a bit. It changed everything I was enjoying where it was heading and like I said, I am very disappointed that it stopped heading in that direction, but that is just me how I felt and honestly the authors for a bunch of those books were pretty impressive and they knew how to write a good spiel. The problem with the new Canaan is it totally goes away from where Lucas was heading in the original trilogy. Skywalker‘s were the chosen ones they were supposed to be the first of the new Jedi not the last Jedi. I am a ridiculously disappointed with how this is playing out Disney just trying to make their billions not make a legacy. I’d much rather have Han and Leia have 50 kids no one kid get a divorce and that kid kills everything… Leia is supposed to become a Jedi her children are supposed to make Anakin and Luke look like their ability in the forest was pathetic… I was kind of excited the way that it was heading as far as the books were taking it and I was excited originally when Disney purchased it because I had high expectations. And with the way that things are streamed now this could’ve all been done we wouldn’t have needed 769 movies to fucking follow the timeline. All we need is these streaming shows that come out with a season or two or three season with eight episodes is eight solid hours that’s basically like watching a whole trilogy. Scatter some movies in there some other series they had it made another just going down this random path. It seems to never end, even though it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere half the time. Booo lolol

canon it's spelled canon. Not cannon, which fires projectiles, or Canaan, an area of land in the middle east, not Kanan, the Jedi in "Rebels" And listen Star Wars is big enough for everyone to enjoy what they enjoy. No one is going to come take your favorite books and stories aways from you. So enjoy it. I will disagree with you on one point: Lucas is a terrible writer. A decent idea man for sure, but the OT was not made by Lucas in a Vacuum. It was made by a large team of talented writers, designers, actors, directors and editors. The most Lauded if the OT is Empire, directed by Irvin Kershner from a screenplay by Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan, based on a story by George Lucas. There's an interview floating around by Kershner who said he would only agree to do it, if Lucas wasn't around second guessing his decisions, which Lucas honored. Lucas is not the end all be all of Great Star Wars. He's not even the end all be all of good star wars. The biggest problem with the Prequels, was actually Lucas being in Charge. People associated Lucas as being behind the full trilogy, when he only directed the first movie, which was ultimately saved in the editing bay, and not in his script. He's a terrible director for actors, he doesn't know how to bring their best performance out. Without the pushback he received during Hope, the Prequels came out with overly heavy politics (which some people love) and bad dialogue which has become meme worthy. My point is, Star War is best handled by a large team not constrained by decades of nebulous Lore, but rather open to craft new stories and make the decisions that are right for the story. Disney's biggest issue is trying to catipulate to the fans, instead of dictating new stories outright, becuase the very people they try to placate can never be satisfied unless their personal head Canon is established and true canon, and it's impossible to fulfill millions of different head canons.

Imho you need to stop trying to confuse the boundary between Disney trash and expanded universe lore. All it does is shows Disney trash can't stand on its own, and whenever you use expanded universe stuff to help bolster it, the effort will backfire because it puts the two side-by-side, and forces a comparison - when you have EU material being compared side-by-side with Disney material, Disney material ALWAYS comes up short. #StarWarsFan4Life and #LegendsAreForever BUT #DisneySucks.

Technically it could be a place where the force works slightly differently. As the force in the mainline galaxy acts like the bendu. While certain planets and orders wield life based powers like the ones of mortis. For thawne’s species the force is expressed in skywalking and rarely anything else While others are only aware of force visions of the future and past And for some it expresses as good luck or random chance So magik could be similar. And that could be the primary expression in the new galaxy.
