Exar Kun (Koon) tried to fuse with a structure on Yavin 4 that was pure darkside. The reason was because he had lost the Jedi Civil War as it was called, and was willing to kill everything. He would have succeeded except the entire Jedi Order merged together mentally and entrapped him. The dark side..is a path to abilities..some..consider unnatural.

Master Exar Kun (pronouce KOON) was considered by many to be the best light saber duelist of all time. He was a Jedi Sentinel that used the yellow double bladed saber. His defection from the jedi council marked the fall from grace of this popular colored saber.

It was actually blue, so..no. I'm not sure where you heard that from. Look at the comics again. Also he wasn't a master nor was he ever on the council before he fell. He WAS a Dark Lord after his fall.

@@Fatherofheroesandheroines Additionally, it is debatable that he was the best light saber dualist. As many of his victories were attributed to his dual bladed light saber. A design he copied from the ancient Sith, and weapon the Jedi were not used to encountering. He should be included in the debate as the best, but it is not definitive. I can’t understand the confusion that lead to this comment. It must be a nerd trolling nerds, 🤷🏼♂️.

The jedi sentinels always used the dual blades though so it was a technique well known, back in the days.

Talking of pretenders to the throne, *Tales of the Jedi* briefly mentioned two young aristocrats who smuggled a Sith spell book to their homeworld and used Dark Side magic to overthrow its ruling class.

Sideshow did a 1/4 statue of Darth Malgus. XM did a 1/4 statue of Darth Revan and Darth Malak statue
