There’s a reason Anthony Edward’s claims KD is his choice for GOAT! KD fell off my list because of the post season beat-down he and Kyrie took at the hands of my favorite team to hate- Boston, during KD’s Bklyn Nets stint! But if he can resurrect Phoenix in the postseason, all is forgiven KD!

Kd is goated . You need to provide context on why they got swept. Injuries, kyrie not being available for majority of the season, harden leaving, Kd coming back from an acl injury.

Nah bro you gotta put into context what happened that year before you even say he got beat down. He didn’t just get beat down a lot had to happen that season for that to ultimately happen. We do it for lebron Steph or any other player we gotta do it for kd too it ain’t fair to judge him under the circumstances he was under. Him and kyrie may have played 8 games together that season

You’re right, that was a lot to overcome! But u gotta understand! I been a Knicks fan, which makes me an automatic Celtics-hater for more than 5 decades! There’s just no excuse for being taken out with a broom when ur KD and Kyrie! U gotta get one W! Lebron, Larry, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Bill Russell, Isiah, Clyde , Olajuwon, Moses, etc… never got swept in the playoffs! Never!

@@glawtonmoore no kyrie until like the last few games of the season. They started that away stuff late asl. And it wasn’t about harden being outta shape he left because of the kyrie situation. Idk why you mentioned him when he wasn’t even there for the series it would have went differently if he was there that’s what they was missing. The whole situation in Brooklyn kd getting hurt mid season bro all type of stuff and yeah ime udoka was the assistant coach in Brooklyn and Boston head coach which means he knew the plays spots etc to take kd out the game. Even tho kd still averaged a tough 27 points. But him and kyrie had no time but the following year didn’t they go like 16-2 and get traded? lol 😂

Agreed, his defense is really good yet rarely talked about.

KD carries damn near every time he dribbles, how is anyone supposed to cover that along with all the other physical attributes.

True, Boston is a team with alot of 6'8+ defenders that were able to bother KD more than most players can.
