I agree it's very vague. @DarthVella the government already puts millions of $$ into indigenous affairs groups to improve the lives of Aboriginals...but seemingly it's not helping because "we haven't been listening"...so what/how will the Voice and change to the constitution help? Couldn't the Government just start listening and find out where the funds have been incorrectly used, re assign the funds or stop funding g those that don't work? Are they going to close/stop funding all the current organisations that aren't successful in creating the improved lives that The Voice is going to achieve? All I see is blanket statements of magical change, no real quantitative steps or direction. But even after all this the PM said last night in his interview that "nothing will change, Aboriginals in communities won't get to vote on who is part of the 24, and it's just an advisory board with no power". What's the point - he completely flawed me.
@purshottamadevadhikar5035

@@DarthVella its not the vagueness of the video I'm talking about. It's more about the open-endedness of the amendment itself. Think of the VOICE this way. If a group of people in your community or society were imprisoned more, dying earlier, getting sicker more often and were crushed as a people because of what had been done to them over the generations. Then that group of people asks the government of the day, if they can express their concerns to the parliament. THAT'S IT ! That's ALL they want. Everything else is about sowing the seeds of division, political point scoring and disempowering us all.

There is no plan or proof it will make any difference. In fact there is no plan at all on what it will look like, on how it will function or how the body will be appointed. I think it should be investigated if the state now and then is legislated with the Bible written as a story. The word immunity (Latin immunitas, freedom from obligations to the state) comes from a religious revelation from the Middle Ages, most likely from a pope to become lawless, and which has since been rewritten into full immunity to the king, personal and functional immunity (legally, cannot be prosecuted for the criminal act) to the prime minister, government, parliament, cabinet, and Supreme Court for law decisions and actions. It should also be investigated if the people elected fallen soldiers in the world wars. The political exploitation of the vital ecosystem has now led to forest death (force majeure) how will it affect people's economy, etc? I also think the Democrat Party can be a consciously misleading party name with all parties belonging to the Conservative Party, as current political democracy and socialism can only be about going more toward the middle, eg. social democrats. The reason may be that the king (head of state) wants to govern the people with full immunity together with the prime minister, government, parliament, cabinet, and Supreme Court with functional immunity, personal immunity for law decisions and actions, even with the misleading word professional politician. Furthermore, I think the people should consider voting for a real democratic party with an independent state formation to investigate if the king, prime minister, government, parliament, cabinet, and Supreme Court overall may be guilty of a violation of democratic rights with misleading elections, serious economic crimes, violation of human rights with class society for adults and children, serious environmental crime (force majeure).

I agree it's very vague. And the simple fact that at the beginning of this the PM said he us going to fulfil the Uluru Statement in it's entirety is concerning as it does mention specifics regarding treaty, payouts etc. If all Aboriginals wanted this there wouldn't be a no campaign...90.77% off all Australians voted to take specific race out of the constitution in 1967, it couldn't be clearer could it?

Equality is the way forward and constitutional recognition and a voice to parliament in this context is not the way forward. I am voting NO so all Australian citizens remain politically equal.

This definition also is applicable to the proposed "voice" as it gives additional rights to those claiming Aboriginal heritage, based on their race, that other Australians aren't entitled to, based on THEIR race.
