A very good first speech as Speaker, written well and superbly delivered. I wish all of the success to Mr. Johnson, and that all parties in that chamber genuinely understand the sense of urgency required to save the nation, and then act accordingly.

I do like Congressman Johnson and I’m hopeful his speakership will genuinely unite a very divided House of Representatives. He easily won the GOP’s vote for speaker and I am seeing here the democrats giving him repeated standing ovations in unison with the Republicans. This might seem benign to most but I see it as a good sign that Rep Johnson is respected by his colleagues. Praying for America🌿🙏🏻

I just read article from Matt gaetz and you can watch his video that Mccarthy had lots to do with delay on getting speaker he was trying to take back speakers spot so he was putting his name on ballot and saying he had 100 people voting for him over this guy.
