ABOUT ME
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello there, welcome to this channel!
I am an Indonesian female solo traveler, who started solo traveling in 2013. After working for the government till 2016, I left Indonesia to pursue full-time traveling and to document myself as I explore different cultures as a solo female.
Having initially traveled for 5 months throughout Asia, I moved to China in January 2017 for an English teaching job, which was my first experience living abroad.
Since leaving China in 2018, I have taken the move to become a full-time KZread creator and traveler. I strive to create unique, culture-driven content and capture authentic interactions as I travel.

Fancy seeing you here :)
Syifa, so very impressed with your English skills! You obviously have a knack for languages and story telling!! You should most certainly continue making videos! It is going to get real tough the next couple of years with the way economies around the world go, but take heart from the fact that people with skills such as yours will always strike work no matter the circumstances! So more power to you!!! ❤
Hey, would you recommend Yinchuan for a place to live? I want to study in China and one of universities I'm considering is in there, but it's really hard to find anything about the quality of living there. Is it expensive? How's the air quality? And most important - how's the streetfood?
Syifa thank you for your amazing response to my question, which was about 1 minute. Your experience is priceless, and I agree with everything you said. We should be humble and open minded towards differences between people. God bless you.

Syifa Adriana We are all human beings. Because biggoted tribalists/racists/cultural supremacists do not like it, it is not our problem, nor it changes facts. Ramadhan Karim to you! Respect to all indonesian people, I have had a great experience with all indonesians I spoke to I needed your experience because I have been thinking myself of the possibility of moving to China perhaps in a future. I am fine praise be to God/alhamdulillah. Are you javanese? May God pour more blessings on you!

Syifa Adriana Thank you so much for your suggestion sister. If I move to China, I may even move for a long term period. I am a medical doctor, and I have noticed China has a boosting market for doctors, not just the private clinics, but also the state itself. Do you have any information about this field or the market, since you live one year and half there? May God bless you!

Syfia, do you have any advice on travelling with a pet? I am thinking of taking my cat along with travelling. 🌻
Luckily, the uncertainties in your near future plan is because you're flexible/indecisive with many options. Sometimes a bit of divine intervention will help you make your next move! :D

Do you have to have graduated University to teach English abroad (In China) if so does it matter which degree it is? And which degree do you have (if you have one) ? :)
@SyifaAdriana
6 жыл бұрын
You have to have a bachelor degree, teaching experiences or teaching certificate. The degree doesnt have to be about education. All of these requirement are must and required by the government to obtain a work visa. The school also has to have a license to hire foreign teacher :)
Love to see your videos.

I thought China introduced new rules and only gives teaching visas to native English speakers
@SyifaAdriana
6 жыл бұрын
True! In reality only native speakers get the English teaching job visa, however in real practice, plenty of native speakers even teach with tourist/business visa. At the same time, plenty of non-native do the job with work visa although registered as something else. The demand for this job in China is so high and will always higher than the available people who can do/willing to do this job.

Unfortunately, I don't know yet.
Those people passing by were stopping out of curiousity and checking on what u were doing...thats funny, lol And btw about the “public punishmen”, i also have experienced with my own eyes while in the hotel in nanjing. The local tour guide made a mistake because she took the hotel keys from the receptionists and directly gave it to us as the event participants without communicating it first with the leader of the event organizer. The leader was very angry and shouted out at her in front of us. That sounds very rude and ashaming but they just dont really care about time and place.
@SyifaAdriana

Hahahaha yes, I shouldve stopped and asked them to say hi. I wasn't really paying attention as I was focusing on answering these questions. With regards to your experience, I guess I am not so shocked... thank you for watching :)
❤
Hi, Syifa, next time, if you happen to work in China again, please choose the big cities in costal area...you will get well paid and their management is way better than those in deep China... And if possible, try to teach in University, 10-20 hours per week, and higher salary than high school...
other option is to become a tour leader. Tour leader makes good amount of money from tips.How do you become one? try to apply to tour and travel companies in Indonesia or you can try to organize a tour by yourself.
@SyifaAdriana

I know some people do that. I may personally don't find it to be attractive option but who knows? I am an introvert person that I dont fee comfortable traveling with a huge group. LOL
❤️❤️❤️
☺️ New content ☺️
Hi,hope u enjoy u travel in yunnan province. The most beautiful place i think except my hometown beijing. Very diverse and I even have a idea to live there all my left live. Better for at least two months in yunnan Haha. And also if u take videos when u travel there instead of sitting in a park or somewhere. Would be better.So small for Yinchuan
Finally some realistic information, most KZread videos are endless commercials how "everything is Paradise" etc., while I know that is not the truth. I have traveled to over 40 different countries and lived in many too, most of the KZread vlogs are just there to create income and entertainment.
Well done

There are many Uzbeks in Indonesia & Malaysia. The Uzbeks & Uyghurs are Silk Road history (Turks).
Why don't you try New Zealand, ? The pace is much slower than China but we speak English here, and many Chinese live here although, you won't be over-whelmed by any one race.
