Dunno man... Like Hulk, Thanos got extremely nerfed by the MCU. Originally Thanos has godlike abilities. Both physical & with an understanding of magic (which can be dangerous to hulk as far as I know). His capabilities were also kept pretty vague in good old comic-villain-fashion. For example he seems to have a degree of control over life & death of lifeforms galaxies away from him (talking about deadpool) without any infinity-stone.

Hulk cells fight off infection! If that's what you want to call it. Like when Dracula bit him he turned but his cells began fighting the vampire infection from his system. Hulks cells are individually rage monsters.

Vampirism is a virus, but Venom is a symbiote with the telepathic abilities to signal his host that he feels better then ever. I think banners body would not try to isolate venom, like it would with disease and projectiles, because venom mimics to be "a good thing" like the millions of positive bacteria that are needed by the human body. Last time venom took over hulk it didn't seem to be a problem

@@vesanus5600 And that is a problem! 2 things by historic canon material detrimental to symbiotes are Heat and Sonic sound! This is totally missed in the comics around and after 2000. Read the canon material and you would see that the Incredible Hulk is a walking nuclear reactor! Which is not just heat we are talking about Heats of 950 degrees Celsius. Which could reach higher due to his gamma radiation that registers hotter than nuclear radiation. It by canon material would not be a sustainable, or viable option for any symbiote.

I could argue that symbiotes fear very specific types of sound, so maybe they also fear very specific types of heat (fire), but I think you're right & that fact just got ignored over time. Maybe because it causes a lot of logical trouble (even if it absolutely makes sense that hulk heats up)

One thing that remains pretty consistent...I've not yet heard or seen anyone who could straight-up brawl with the Hulk long enough to find out if Hulk even has an upper limit on his strength. As he gets stronger, his resistance to damage & healing factor also increase. A mind that is that deeply immersed in rage is difficult for psychics to get through to have mush effect mentally. Hulk can still be tricked or misdirected but most direct mental attacks that do not involve increasing his rage even more is harder to accomplish...And it's pretty obvious that this is not a good strategy. Anyone who has managed to defeat him needs to use some other tactic or method that does *not* include fisticuffs because the longer a brawl lasts, the more that his opponent's chances dwindle.

All throughout the Hulk's run for *years* in the comics, any time that Banner's mind & personality was in charge, he couldn't muster up enough actual rage to increase his strength; he also tends to avoid collateral damage as much as possible. But, when the Hulk persona is in charge, the rage & greater strength comes easily & swiftly, with little to no care for collateral damage. This much was already established canon in Marvel even before Hollywood tried making any budget-breaking movies.

actually iron man used slepping gas, he had to overpower hulk which took effort do to the damage hulk buster received, thor without any weapons and using he's power could contend with hulk since he didn't bleed when facing him. the thing wasn't a shocker it's a neurotoxin device that affects you're nervous system plus it's not just thor it's hulk and everyone else on the planet can get out of commision with that.@@tech_flex_320

In the comics Venom actually has sustained hits from the Thundercalp continuously, and even beaten Hulk. Otherwise, Inaomniac should be beaten with a Thunderclap because it hasn’t developed a resistance like Comic Venom.

I agree here. Venom in comics had a tolerance to sound and could face Juggernaut. This Venom- while still strong has not decoupled a sound resistance yet so theoretically the sound from one thunderclap should take him out.

I first thought this would be MCU Hulk vs Sonyverse Venom and I was like..."when was this even a debate". But then it hit me that this is Insomniac Venom and I was like...cool, something new and could actually be interesting.

Hulk punches a million ton space monster and takes it out with one punch. Hulk punches 500 lb Thanos and it’s like he’s a baby punching a teddy bear. That’s a convenience for writing or a forced story outcome.

Dude, are you forgetting about king and black venom? The one that’s all powerful that controls every symbiot well, just about anyway? Not only that I’m pretty sure that venom can suffocate the Hulk just by wrapping him up and goop, then take his ass over… The one by us in my opinion, because venom is my favorite. Hulk was my OG favourite when I was a kid and if we’re talking about the tank control banner hulk, then I think venoms a goner. So I’d say he would beat Eddie even as the king in black and it hurts to admit that because I’ve been a diehard fan of Venom from the first time i read his comics! But Venom did take over the hulk and just about everyone else, even a Venom Thor… if you haven’t seen any of these wild stories just goggle it or check out Robs Comics Explained and go through all the Venom stories and crossovers and check out Tank Hulk and you might even agree with me! @@harrygough2810 admittedly I don’t have much knowledge of Venom as I haven’t really looked into him as much, but from what I’ve seen, it all really depends on the writer for how strong a character is, cuz there is at least 1 comic for every hero and villain where they are considered unbeatable, magneto for example, pretty sure there was a point in a comic(don’t quote me on this cuz it’s been forever since I’ve researched him) that he magnified his powers and became unbeatable(kinda like what professor X can do) Back to venom and hulk, hulk realistically doesn’t have a power cap because he can infinitely get more angry(especially if Bruce just gave up holding back entirely and let hulk take over) Honestly, even then, I don’t think venom itself would be killed, but any host it tries to connect to would be crushed to a pink mist. And if they were to have a full out brawl that lasted longer than a singular hulks strongest thunder clap, I feel as tho it would go on indefinitely, cuz venom isn’t strong enough to mind control hulk(again, depending on writer) and hulks healing factor would probably just burn it out of his system like other “plagues”(not sure what else to classify them as, as they are different each time he gets something) Also, thank you for the positive reply, it’s a nice change of pace from all the negativity lately

If you’re a big Green Rage fan then you gotta look into Tank Hulk, Banner is controlling him with this awesome headset and well basically like he’s on the bridge of the Enterprise! So maybe I’d change the Tank Hulk into Starship Hulk tbf… that Hulk would destroy any earth hero “with few exceptions like Franklin Richards and a few others!” But I changed my Venom bias to Hulk bias when I remember “Starship Hulk!” Yea, check it out and you won’t be disappointed… 💯bet you’ll love that series! Spidey actually has fought Hulk and damaged him. (Granted it didn’t really faze him but rather just angered him but he can still do damage) and it technically want really a “fight” but I wouldn’t say Spidey can’t faze him at all. And Venom has tanked this from Juggernaunt and in the “King In Black” Comics defeated the dark overlord and King of Symbiotes, Knull.

Honestly, your argument doesn't work. Realistically, Peter, if Peter doesn't have the symbiote suit as well, ,would stand no chance against venom. Spidey only beats Venom due to plot armor and because they make Venom too dumb to even use his symbiote to the fullest of all its capabilities. And when it comes to hulk, Venom could literally use the symbiote to go inside of hulks body and destroy his insides. Venom would wreck hulk. Game over

I remember I think it was the mid-90s and...... I think it was Cable tried to get inside Hulk's mind - and did- but couldn't successfully control him because even Savage Hulks mind was too tough for Cable to get through past his anger/rage to be able to control. So if it was in comics; at least the older ones, I would say even the best version of Venom couldn't beat the standard regular Hulk

Venom would clearly win. Both hulk and venom can't really die, so this can't be the winning-condition. (Venom can be scared away by fire & sound, yes, but that's all) Thing is, Venom was already able to take over hulks body, bonding with banners personality, isolating hulks madness completely away! So he clearly won against hulk. Banner can supress hulk, so the only question is if venom can supress banner. And most of the time the answer is 'yes' considering banner just wants to live in silence and peace. The symbiote could give him that.

This was answered in a What If? Series. The venom symbiote attaches itsefl to Bruce Banner and leaves its former host. Then Venom eats all the gamma radiation from Bruce Banner destroying the Hulk's physical manifestation, curing Bruce Banner and killing Hulk for good.(The story appears in 1989's What If...? #4, by Danny Fingeroth and Mark Bagley, which asked the question "What If the alien costume had possessed Spider-Man?")

The thunderclaps wouldn't do much to Venom. His weakness is high frequency sound, 4khz and above. Thunderclaps fall in the range of 5hz-200hz.

Not sure about this. Symbiotes hate these sounds because it reminds them of the pain when they were forged by a hammer... I can imagine hulks claps could be mistaken with a hitting hammer too, not so much for the frequency, but for the sheer force

Hulk's mind already has that "monster mentality." It just wouldn't work to try and rewrite his mind into a different monster, thus making him uniquely immune

Thor is strong, however it is usually Thor and his mighty Uru hammer which helps keep Thor in the fight with the Hulk. Also the smart professor Hulk is less strong (in the movies than Thanos) than the raging brute Hulk from other movies. The madder the Hulk, the stronger he gets, which makes it difficult for anyone to beat him when he is at his peak strength (which may not have a limit depending on his intense rage). Venom while strong, would not be a match for Hulk. Spiderman stays in the fight with Hulk, only because of his spider speed to evade his punches, as his strength does not compare with Hulks. Hulk can also self heal very quickly, which is why Wolverine and Hulk both rapid healers can last a long time. Sometimes gas can knockout the hulk.

Speaking of which, is Venom immune to the effects of gamma radiation?

I don't think Thanos would really win in a physical fight against Hulk. That's just Disney being a little loose with the attributes of these 2 characters to further their story. The one feature Hulk has which doesn't appear in the Marvel movies is how the angrier The Hulk gets the stronger he gets, also The Hulk has an extremely fast metabolism, he heals almost instantly and knocking him out is pretty much impossible. The Hulk getting defeated by pressure points doesn't really make sense

It is pretty close considering venom only weakness is fire and high frequency noises

@@michaelgamble2848 Doesn’t matter who he beat, he has the size, strength and agility to stand a chance against Hulk. We saw how much Hulk struggled against the Abomination.

Venom can grow resistance

Hulk/Banner was mentally conflicted VS Thanos. That’s why he wasn’t ALREADY in the fight. Banner must’ve been off hiding & begging Hulk to come out. No way he was at full strength

So essentially hulk being nerfed vs venom who is buffed. Yep.

I wish they would put hulk in a movie were he could actually show his true power and not this standard hulk in avengers, but hulk would not win no matter how strong he gets unless he learns venoms weakness very quickly

Hulk definitely has the x factor and not only does he have ultimate strength but can regenerate faster or as fast as Wolverine. Venom however has the ability to adapt, and can consume a part of the Hulk and can become as powerful if not more so

Venom can’t even do any damage to hulk. Hulks body is stronger than steel if you try to stab him the knife would break. Venom ain’t doing anything

Venom has a mind of two individuals making them strategically smarter. More than likely venom would try to suffocate the hulk instead of carelessly bashing at him. The hulk is powerful but he can still die if he has no air to breathe luckily for venom I don’t think air is much of a problem for him as he literally rides a meteor from space onto earth

@@therookie5714 wrong. Hulk literally can hold his breath in space, but he needs to breathe. Imagine it as a whale. He can survive without breathing in impossible conditions, but still needs air. Symbiotes however were made from the nothingness of space, so if you put venom & hulk in space for a few weeks, months or years, hulk is dead. venom just needs a new host.

That got me dead: Hulk takes strength because he is hulk Hulk takes durability because he is hulk Hulk wins because he is hulk It's kinda weird💀

Hulk becomes smart hulk after and he became really horrible at fighting

hulk would only need one version, The Entropy Hulk, he solos every version of venom combined

Hulk has defeated venom several times in the comic books. Hulk when fully raged can even move super fast faster than… look at how fast he climbed up a wall fighting the hulk buster… his leaping ability, ability to see ghost, etc.

Tony’s Hulk Buster knocked him out!
