From the movies to the comicbooks, the Hulk was turned into a jobber instead of a hero. Hulk is the 13th strongest one there is! doesn't have the same ring to it.

My husband was livid on the drive home from Thor Ragnarok bc he said not only did they bring the hulk down to being roughly the same power level as thor, but he said the whole arc on Sakaar meant there would never be a stand alone Planet Hulk storyline in the MCU.

Professor Hulk could've been a badass in the MCU. Imagine he did martial arts training with Cap during the blip, and he also went into combat with giant guns like in the comics. So much wasted potential man 🤦🏾‍♂️

To me, Disney emasculated the Hulk by Endgame and have no intentions of changing him.

The instant I got out of Infinity War I was pissed, their BIGGEST movie to date with almost every major character in the series still alive, and they completely leave out one of the original avengers and most important characters.

I agree with everything you said. They have disrespected the Hulk. I don't think.Stan Lee would have liked the idea of taking down the Hulk in a few seconds and downgrading the Hulk. The Hulk should get a rematch with Thanos. The writers could have done much better than make the Hulk gonoutbof character. The fightbwas stupid and cheaply done.

Interesting take. Lol'd at a certain Black Widow related comment. Good video. While I've still generally enjoyed the Hulk in the films there are so many missed opportunities. And that's really the problem with rushing to the team movie format. The Hulk is a rage machine and it is that unrestrained explosion of rage that the viewer can identify with. The cathartic ecstasy of releasing that pent up anger that most of us cage throughout our daily existence. Even Ang Lee's Hulk got that right. Well, Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, Hulk vs., and Planet Hulk. At least we got those.

Agree with everything you said. TBH the MCU was dead to me from Infinity War. First of all making Hulk go AWOL, and then in Endgame neutering Thor from what he became in Ragnarok. Oh yeah, they snipped Vision too in Infinity War. A pattern there...... I'd rather they had Thanos kill Hulk in Infinity War - make it a bit more brutal, Hulk maybe makes him bleed and then Thanos destroys him - would have been better than them ruining everything about Hulk after Infinity.

This video right here is on point. The Hulk is my 3rd favorite superhero and to see how the MCU has massacred my boy.... Awesome video. Can't wait to see more 🔥

The russo brothers even said they didn't know how to write for the hulk and its ridiculous because hulk has so much potential it was a missed opportunity in endgames finale but instead they gave him a messed up arm and comic relief It was also a slap in the face when he showed up in the infinity war trailer but disappeared completely in the beginning

Yeah, it makes no sense that they wouldn't at least try to come up with a plan for the Hulk. He's one of the original Avengers, and he's an essential part of the team. They did a great job with those Avengers movies, but the Hulk was a missed opportunity.

From the moment iron man knocked him out, it was all down hill.

Adding to Infinity War, it was really annoying when Hulk entered, hit Thanos once or twice and then just tried to strangle him? Why would he not just keep punching him? Seems like he was barley trying....something I noticed on my last re-watch.

They turned him into a coward.

I have a suggestion idea to M.C.U. people; Have something happen to SmartHulk, and then later he transforms into a new form that is GreyHulk. I imagine M.C.U. GreyHulk, having a very buff, grey skinned body, and he has pail-blue colored eyes. In addition I imagine, GreyHulk’s level of intelligence is lessened, from that of SmartHulk, and he has his own personality too.

I haven't heard any theories that Marvel Studios is going to kill off Skaar when they're clearly setting up the Young Avengers, but there is a way to use Skaar to further Hulk's character. Ritson's final act in Secret Invasion is to "declare all off world species enemy combatants" as Ritson wants the government to "find and kill every last one of them." Since Ross will replace Ritson as President in the MCU in Brave New World, Ross will still work with Ritson's act especially when he finds out that Skaar was born off world. If Hulk sees the man who ruined his life attempt to kill his son, he'll finally return to the savage Hulk or unleash the World Breaker.

Personally i think the Eric Bana Hulk should count as the beginning of Hulks tale. And he was far more bada** in that movie... from the guy who made Brokeback Mountain. Seriously, is no one ever going to give Ang Lees Hulk any credit?? We got the best General Ross imaginable in that movie

Hulk got beat by Abomination but he didn’t just give up, throw a tantrum and say Bruce should handle it. He got his resolve and started using creative ways to get the upper hand Why would Hulk suddenly regress after fighting Thanos? You can’t tell me he’d be okay with his allies getting slaughtered and not wanting to do anything to help, especially after he allegedly ‘matured’ during Ragnorok. That’s just character assassination because the filmmakers didn’t know what else to do with the character. Even the merged Brulk creates something as beneficial as a device that can make you age or de-age, yet something as groundbreaking as that gets turned into a throwaway joke like the rest of the character himself

Yeah F Disney for what they did to Hulk. But if you think about it Hulk defeated Thor in his own movie. Last thing Thor seen before waking up was Hulks fist. Thor fans can't use Thor was electricuted as an excuse because he was already high voltage.

Disney/ Marvel could have made hulk do a Mr. Fixit or Grey hulk period with moments of unbridled rage… and instead made hulk a plot device. I would have settled with Banner and hulk being permanently separated by Ancient one… nope. She hulk curing Dr. Hulk was the last straw…

I prefer even the Ang Lee Hulk over the Marvel Hulk. I guess to fit the storyline for the arrival of Captain Marvel they had to find some way to sideline the most powerful characters, emasculate Hulk and make Thor an overweight fatass.

If you've read the Hulk's recent comic runs you'll truly love the character even more. The comics actually gives both Hulk and Bruce Banner justice. The Immortal Hulk run by Al Ewing is the direction Marvel Studios needs to go with the character. In that run we are introduced to the Devil Hulk. A personality of the Hulk that comes out at night and is way smarter than the Savage Hulk we all know. Devil Hulk was actually the first persona Bruce ever manifested when he was a child. Representing all the damage his father caused him. Devil Hulk is the persona Bruce feared the most. He speaks and thinks like a normal adult, but he is ridiculously strong to where Thor says he's something close to a God. And that's how that persona got the nickname of Devil Hulk. While people want to see a rampaging and mindless Hulk again, I want to see a smarter and more sinister version of the character in live action. That thinks before he acts and comes off as an apex predator that hides in the shadows. Like the factory scene in the 2008 film.

The punch that takes the Hulk down should've sent him thru the hull of the ship, which never would've happened because the Hulks first punch should've put THANOS thru the hull. They made him kinda pathetic, when, as you say, he should be feared

Thanos and Hulk fight was bad, it felt like two scaled up non-superhuman fighting in a cardboard world, the Thanos even struggled to lift Hulk, with their strength levels lifting each other should be non-issue. The cop car in first hulk probable was heavier, but Hulk has nor problem to wield it like gloves, and abomination can send him flying with a kick. 🤔

Well yeah thanos had the power stone so it makes sense that he was able to beat him

Truly a failure indeed.

Blame the 'woke' crowd. By Endgame, they already felt the need to make the most powerful heroes females, and by 'She-Hulk' we all knew she would be the boss babe who was far superior to him in every way.

These are movies about fictional superheroes, the very inappropriate use of rape completely undermines your ability to form valid criticisms. People love infinity war and Endgame and I ask them. How much would you like them movies it if you’re favorite character got treated like the hulk did. I’m guessing they wouldn’t have liked the movies very much. And what needs to happen and what I’ve been wanting to happen for a long time is World War Hulk. But who knows now because Thor Ragnarok has parts of the World War Hulk storyline in it. So how would they put Hulk back into the gladiator arena and how would they show off Sakar again.

There are many characters the mcu ruined over time But some marvel destroied from arrival like task master or galactus from the old fantastic 4 movie You could make a video about how. Much wasted potential ultron was cus in the comics , in the 2d animation series ultron is the ultimate big bad And in the mcu he is a pebble y'know? He could have been the big bad first than thanos , then after thanos he could have even come back for more Another important character that marvel should have in the mcu is dr doom but they would probably treat him like ultron honestly

Despite the fact that 2008 hulk looks menacing, Mark Rufallo hulk is much stronger than Edward hulk. Edward hulk could barely lift a army jeep. Did you forget that Banner has different incarnations? Hulk is a monster, yes but he is more than smash smash smash. Go pick up immortal hulk Al Ewing comic run and you see what I am saying. Hulk has personality, he is remorseful, and a good guy. I kinda like Banner hulk but the only issue I have with what they did to him is that he didn't get to fight Thanos.

It’s funny because most titles from phase 4 & phase 5 are not bad, critics on Rotten Tomatoes still like new MCU films & give them positive review.

Always crying and complaining. There are tons of these videos from other KZread people, and they all say the same thing. It must be for the views. What is with the voice? I've heard it before on other channels. I guess it is the equivalent to the vocal fry for guys.

After hearing what Kevin Feige said about us never getting a Hulk movie ever and how they plan on using all the existing Hulk related characters in Brave New World I honestly don't think there's any hope for this character in mainstream at this point and as a Hulk fan that's been a Fan Long before there ever movies made about him that really hurts to realize. We could've had a Hulk TV Show way back during phase 1/2 and from what I read about it it was gonna be a kickass continuation of the 08 film and would've delved deep into the lor/mythos and everything but unfortunately Kevin Feige cancelled it because at the time he wouldn't have direct control of the series. Universal isn't even the reason why we can't have a proper Hulk Trilogy either cus Marvel could still just make the movies and all they'd have to do is ask Universal if they'd distribute it and weather Universal says yes or no wouldn't matter as long as they get an answer thus we'd get a Hulk movie but Disney simply hate Universal too much to let Marvel ask and don't seem to care about the Hulk since we haven't had really anything in recent years for the character in any medium outside the comics. I would kill for a Hulk Series right now, a Video Game like Ultimate Destruction but way better, a full on Trilogy or something, but alas we can't have that within our lifetimes so long as Disney has control of everything and they'll never let go or throw us a bone. There were soo many Hulk Projects that got canned cus of Disney and to this day I'm still pissed we'll never get a proper Planet Hulk and World War Hulk Movie or Show, I miss when Marvel made their Animated Lionsgate films, it baffles me that we never got an animated World War Hulk sequel to Planet Hulk, like at the very least release those older films on Disney+ and maybe bring back that old school Marvel. I mean if the MCU is gonna take a back seat for awhile we still need something to bring us hype and honestly it would do a lot of good. Or even bring back the 90s Hulk series I mean X-Men 97 worked out great so if anything I think that would make everyone happy if they plan on bringing back their 90s shows, Hulk really needs something right now and it's High Time we get something that brings this character back to grace. My first time being introduced to the Hulk were 2 things, the Live Action TV Show starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno and the 90s Animated Series which both captured the essence of the characters of Bruce Banner and Hulk respectively well. I think we really need that old school energy back and hopefully that is on the plate after X-Men 97 and maybe then Marvel will get it right and after Secret Wars we can start off with a Proper Hulk Trilogy after the soft reboot of the MCU. In all honesty that maybe the only way to get the Hulk we all know and love back if Disney/Marvel have no intensions of fixing this Hulk, or maybe they do and instead we can get that /live Action Hulk Series that could retroactively fix the character and put him back on the right path.
