The things he did to save/avenge both his loves, Kitty Pride and Jean-Paul, is heart warming.

Piotr is an immensely great character. Definitely one of my favorites.

Colossus is by far my favorite X-Men hero, and it's always good to get a video on him even if most information is repeated! I liked that in this video it was mentioned that he has a resistance to Magic & Electricity as they are usually not mentioned! I think Colossus biggest weakness is the writers! He is an underrated Powerhouse for how popular he is! He always seems to be written as holding back bc he can cause a lot of damage and he is aware of this. But in some cases I think he should be able to let loose! Like if he is fighting through Hulk or Juggernaut, while they are stronger than him, that doesn't mean he can't hang with them! Being able to go blow for blow would only last for so long, but what I think what gives him a chance is his other attributes! He isn't just a heavy hitter, he knows how to fight and throw a punch which would be more effective against physically stronger opp. He's a strong fighter but also a smart one!

@@vipe650r Well I was only talking about Hulk aka Savage Hulk. And he's not physically stronger than Colossus, only overall superior in the hierarchy(which is actually the only important thing). Hulk is already pissed off when he's as physically strong as Colossus because characters that are as strong as calm Hulk(Doc Samson and Grey Hulk) are less physically than Colossus(though they are Colossus' equals in the hierarchy).

Colossus & Wolverine is what made the X-Men cool to me. My older bro claimed Wolverine & I claimed Colossus as my favorite. I was so disappointed that he wasn't really in the X-Men movies.

Wasn't there a time that Peter took brain damage and had to stay metal for months? He went with Magneto during this time as an Alcolyte and when he was finally fixed, Cyclops did the surgery and it was found out that when he is in armored form, he builds up a charge that could be an explosion? I so wish i had my collection to find that issue

i prefer colossus from the og xmen, idk why but seeing him metal up is so much cooler than just being metal all the time.

You mention the longest time he stays in is metal form id 5 days and wherever you're getting that from is wrong or limited to some specific run. Back in the 90 when he left the X-men to be and Acolte of Magneto he took a head wound and stayed in his armored from for months until it healed.

As all hardcore Marvel and comic book fans in general the newer movies are adapted more to suit the newer generations so they skip a lot of the OG facts. Never the less one thing still remains true and I’m glad this video shows why Colossus is the best of the best when it comes to The Strong Man Super heroes, to where he is highly respected for friend and foe, even mythical beings for his strength of heart and character 🙌🏾

(Kitty nearly died in the attempt, too... She attempted for the first time to force herself into a level of inatangibility that would let her walk on air so that she could walk from the roof of the Fantastic Four's headquarters to the roof of another building; she failed, falling hundreds of feet to the ground and ending up comatose, only surviving because she wasn't fully tangible when she hit.)

yeah kitty eventually trained enough and became able to do this. and when the evil sister of charles made her believe she and colossus had a baby, she even exhibited control over her molecules quantum spin, phasing through something specifically designed to keep her out.

The fold out cover of a Wizard has him holding up a burning building's i-beam while the other X-Men run out. Building presumably falls on him and fires die out. He gets up and walks out. Love that cover.

Colossus is easily my favorite X-Men. So sad how he's overlooked in the animated series and most of the movies (big thanks to Deadpool though). You touched on this but one of his biggest attributes is to be nerfed at the writer's discretion. Also, he's always the first one to jump in to die for the team. Seems like he can't wait to sacrifice himself sometimes.. tragically under rated and undervalued as the true brick of the X-Men.

Colossus is the best X Men. He’s the only actual paladin archetype in the group. He’s the best out of all of them.

He would also have increased vision because his eyes would be receiving more light due to the reflective nature or metal. And he'd be able to think and react faster because metal is better conductor or he should be in a vegetable state because any electricity produced would short circuit because none of the metal is insulated inside of his body since it's all metallic

Mikhail Rasputin deserves a profile or a somewhat decent explanation of his powers.

Good, but the magneto power listed is only a part of his actual repertoire, which is as follows. Control of Elements, Magnetism, Energy Manipulation, Flight, Superhuman Intelligence, Superhuman Speed, and creating Force Fields, which altogether are far more dangerous than this makes him out to be. His powers were severely understated.

Peters has many other abilities he probably will never really know. A body made up of metal and possibly his ability to turn to this form means his mind can control this metal as his skin but like his whole body is metal he may be able to alter the metal into various forms of metal not just steel or osmium alone and some metals can be liquid like zinc so maybe his body shift it molecular around to form different colours like gold or even lead. Then his skeleton-like Wolverines doesn't use claws but his fingernails could do some damage and who's to say Colossus can't use some kind of secret powers he doesn't know about or has gained over the last few years his body as Colossus might even change and grow as he gets older?

If I remember , the demon S'ym broke off one of wolverines claws, Stabbed Colossus with it, then pounded his chest so hard, the pressure inside caused the cavity to explode outward. Good times, gooood times...

Colossus as Juggernaut?! That's a very bad idea!

Colossus is extremely vulnerable to acid. Strong acid readily dissolves Piotr’s organic steel, and, if he reverts to human form, he will still get burned by the acid.

You got multiple things wrong in this video. The worst of which is that Colossus's body is made of organic steel, which is SIMILAR to osmium.
