There's one thing that I would like more than even a Nightcrawler solo movie: a version of Cyclops that actually does justice to the character as a strong, competent field leader rather than either pitting him in an unwinnable love/ego match against Wolverine or sidelining him too often.

What some people dont know about Storm is that she is more than just a mutant. She actually is a hybrid concept of Jean Grey and Moon Knight. Her mutation allows her to be the host of a literal weather goddess. So shes very unique in her existence, just like Jean harboring the Pheonix, but also reminiscent of Moon Knight because its a goddess inhabiting her.

Blink in Future Past was very Underated she kinda carried the scene in the temple scene, her character & power design is very unique

The part that I love about Phoenix is that she's been controlling herself every moment and when she was told to "let go", that meant she could relax for once. That's how I know she's a powerful mutant.

The fact the X-Movies never seemed to know what to do with Rogue is forever the biggest sin the Fox Movies made. They adapted the Phoenix saga terribly (TWICE!), but they made the Phoenix a BEAST.

My biggest annoyance with the films is that Rogue didn’t get the respect she deserves.

I love a scene with deadpool and his 2 swords. We can see almost the same scene in Deadpool 2, when he fights with Cable. The way the producers showed, how unrealistic this scene was back then is hilarious

Im disappointed that Storm in Days Of Future Past wasnt on the list. It was pretty cool how you could see the whole mountain surrounded by the wind she was making to slow the sentinels down. Not to mention her and Magneto blowing up the X-jet together without even saying a word. That moment would be top 5 on my list!!

Likewise. They'd just have to tear apart what makes him who he is besides his powers considering he's just about the most Christian person in all of fiction (and most non fiction). Anything remotely religious shown in a positive light is banned in Hollywood.

He dies shortly afterwards, but Colossus metaling up and pummeling sentinels at the beginning of DOFP was always so badass to me.

I think I like the Phoenix character arc regardless of the movie or story they're in. The rebirth part is usually awesome

I know you showed Erik destroying Auschwitz, but I think him literally tearing apart the world still deserves a mention on this list. I mean, if both the kitchen scene and mansion scene get mentions, then I think both of those should, too.

Dark phoenix I hate the movie but the fight scenes and signature line are what get me. “ my emotions don’t make me weak, my emotions make me stronger “.

I don't know about god mode, but the coolest scene int he entire men franchise is definitely quick silver. This was even after MCU already became so popular and people have even watched the first avengers movie. Besides there has been similar concept in movies whether is a speedster or the character controls time. But somehow they still manage to make such a cool and refreshing scene. I think among all the many superhero movies it's right there in the top 5.

Clicked on the video wondering where Nightcrawler would be. Glad he ranked high. The opening scene to X2 is not only IMO the best superhero movie opening scene, but my favourite ever! When people ask me who my favourite MARVEL mutant is, I simply say ............... "BAMF!"

Professor X, Gean Grey and Storm all are humble which is why they never show off.

My favourite is Havok destroying cerebro. It is a short scene but still a good show of strength.

Not all God modes create massive destruction. Like the Nightcrawler's White House assault, for instance? Just because Mystique didn't teleport, doesn't mean she didn't kick those asses.

She wouldn't rank higher than any of those top 25 moments which are not only showing their godly control of their powers or the fact they're at full power, but also the fact anybody facing them in those moments seems insignificant.

19:11 apocalypse never boosted Magnetos power, he only told him of his true potential.

Definitely gonna say, Old Magneto was better at the character than the young one, his moves are so exact to the character in the comics and tv series, the young one sometimes I think overreaches and exaggerates moves, but I totally agree with this list.

He's not better, it's just a different part of his life. You don't act the same when you're young, emotional, hurt, struggling, and when you're old and you've come to an understanding with your inner demons. Ian brings a Magneto who's lived through everything, thus he shows insane control and composure, he seems ready to face anything and anybody. Michael brings a Magneto who's constantly struggling inside, so he's a lot more expressive and extreme. Their acting is amazing for both versions of Magneto. It's more about liking a Magneto over the other, rather than an actor being a better Magneto.

Still waiting for MCU to present Evan Peters as the real Quicksilver. I like Aaron Taylor-Johnson, but he's more of a Kick-Ass kind of superhero to me. Also a shame we'll never see Haley Berry and Chadwick Boseman as Ororo and T'chala respectively, sharing any scene. By the way, it's worth noting that Jean isn't the Phonix, she's a host for the Phoenix Force. Even Logan already have been taken as a host by the Phoenix Force

Personally, Aaron's version was a much better adaption to Quicksilver then Peters. Aaron's Quicksilver felt like the character in tune to the comics, whereas, Peters feels like a jokester character with the Quicksilver name slapped on

Comment sections for superhero/comic book movies is always so goddamn entertaining. Better than the last Marvel/DC movies combined 😅. Thank god Ryan Reynolds came in to mold all the franchises together with his superhero level charisma. He’s seriously one of the most likable people ever to have graced the screen. I haven’t been to the movies in over 10 years, and I’ll be seeing the upcoming Deadpool/Wolverine movie.

The best godmode scene of Apocalypse isn't in this video. Wolverine raging out of the complex while the x-men can only listen the screams and cryings is absolute masterpiece.

X2 was definitely the best one out of the original three

I think the white house assassin scene in X2 is one of the best scenes in Movie History!! The music, the choreography, the effects, all make for an exhilarating moment!! And even though a lot of people didn't like the Phoenix movie, I think it had a lot of great character action scenes, like quicksilver and nightcrawler saving astronauts in space, Jean using everyone's abilities against them to win her fight, like moving the stepping stones out of the way so quicksilver would have nowhere to step next and run himself into an accident and collapsing the roof onto nightcrawler so he wouldn't see it in time to teleport away, and of course the zombie train scene that had nightcrawler slicing and breaking men's necks with his tail!! 😳 We've never seen that level of versatility with his tail before and it was cool to see it could be used as both a knife and a third arm in a way. And of course teleporting a woman out on the train tracks only to disappear right before it hit her! 😆 Great action scenes!

I don't get it. If we saw the Phoenix from Jean in X-Men: Apocalypse, wouldn't that mean the Phoenix was already in her in the beginning? Or was the thing from space the stuff that kinda awakened her inner Phoenix?

Those are actually alternate versions. In x-men Jean was the host of the phoenix since a child, while in the Dark phoenix movie she absorb the phoenix in a space mission.

The CGI of that time is still good than that of today's movies.. And literally the best was of Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix

The anime background music was lit AF in these movies!!!

For me, the top spot would always be Magneto's earth bending from Apocalypse. Along with the visuals and story point, it was mostly Fassbender's acting that drove the emotions, power, and the rage behind that scream and made it memorable for me. When people say "I want to experience an art form for the first time" that's what comes to my mind.

The X2 Nightcrawler sound effect needs to be the standard sound, it's just too good

I'm guessing they gave it to her instead of someone else, using the logic of "Her power evolves and now it's not just that she can make herself and others go through solid matter, but also other matters and even something as conceptual as time."

It's mostly a nod to the comics where she is the one sent back in time, rather than Logan. But that said, in DC Flash is well known for his time travel shenanigans, and he does it the same way, using his ability to vibrate so fast that he phases through matter. His quantum tunneling is done via phasing, so Kitty could theoretically develop the same ability to time travel that flash uses. She could arguably get better at it than he is since it's her primary power and her main focus.

What I notice is that you spent a lot on the Magneto powers. I think you are a fan. I was expecting each characters moment not just one mostly.

My top scenes in no particular order: Quicksilver scenes Magik scenes Iceman turning into ice and fighting the fire guy Nightcrawler scenes

Out of all of these moments, you leave out Wolverine's Berserker moments from X2 (the raid on the school) and in Logan in the forest? Hmm. Interesting choices to make.

Halle as Storm was the WRONNG casting choice. It should have been Angela Bassett. There also shouldn't have been such a strong focus on Wolverine throughout the 2000s franchise.

and he isnt saposed to be nearly as fast as the mansion scene with the explosion, but they have to dial up everyones powers to 11 compared to how they are in the comics just to make a cool scene.

@@theodorearagon I think they've actually dialed down everyone's powers. I mean, Magneto can use the iron in people's blood to control them, but in the movies, he's not nearly as powerful. And that's just 1 example.

Choice no 1 would be the opening scene or the xmen fight scenes against the improved sentinels in Days of future past. It should've won the special effects Oscar
