Are you kidding? I´m from Brazil, and it was notorious here that how in 1991 Rock In Rio II, GN´R threated not to join the festival if they couldn´t bring FNM to be their opening act. Which brazilian audiences loved!

@@dowdallerno1 not as good as angel dust but you can tell FNM still has their signature sound and vibe. I hate when bands lose their signature sound. Bands like Korn are very depressing because they made some good albums but now most their recent albums are pop rock/metal with cheesy vocals. When every song sounds like a radio pop rock song and doesn't sound like that dirty raw funky dark or light catchy good shit then you've lost your spunk. The latest Korn album I really liked was their untitled album that album was not as dark most songs sounded light but it still had that signature energy and rhythm sound without sounding generic/popish/cheesy.

GNR took the stage about 1am cused us out for about 20 mins axl said you paid for a ticket now you can listen to me or leave Axl kept going off stage we ended up leaving at 330 am Metallica they rocked the place
Honestly, the only band I feel bad for is Metallica. Biggest tour of 1992, and Metallica was the only band on the ticket who just wanted to perform and do their best for the audience... between Axl and Mike Patton's never-ending bullshit, I imagine Metallica must have been frustrated and annoyed night after night and wishing they were on a different tour.

FNM was good but nobody was into them and I felt bad for them because the people on the floor just sat through their whole set. GNR was good but naturally Axl got mad and left for like 30 minutes during You Could Be Mine and they were about 2-3 hours late. Many people just left.

Curly Que You realise that Milli Vanilli was also one of the biggest bands in the world at one time, right? They weren’t making original music. Certainly, not within the context of how they were packaged and presented publicly. Point being: Nirvana weren’t anywhere near as original or groundbreaking as the fawning mainstream press would have you believe. But, no one’s allowed to say anything different. Much like everyone has been brainwashed to believe Michael Jordan is the greatest to ever bounce a basketball, even though the individual record books say otherwise. Just because Nirvana sold a shitload of records 3 years after their first single when few people in the States outside the PNW knew who they were, doesn’t necessarily indicate they were suddenly doing anything original. They weren’t. They merely aped to perfection what the Melvins, Husker Du, the Pixies, and Sonic Youth had already done. And, with regards to mainstream exposure, let’s not forget that Jane’s Addiction paved that road for them the year BEFORE Nevermind. It’s past time to stop giving Nirvana credit for something they didn’t actually do and never really were.

I was a huge fan of GNR in the 80s early early 90s during my teenage years. The older i got however, the more immature GNR seemed to me. The fans, shows never seemed important. All the antics and controversies between bands, if i had to put up with all that crap they pulled on that tour (and other tours) i'd be pissed too. It should be said, "GNR was at the top and had it all, but never acted like they wanted it and threw it all away because they couldn't grow up"
