They had a podcast van at Carthrottle, that was barely used for podcasts. Last we heard of it was that it was parked outside of Mike Brewer's unit, but that was years ago.

It's great to hear that Alex's success with Auto Alex has created an investment into two further channels, offering subscribers three quality videos a week across the three channels. Additionally, it's great to have Alex, Rory and Taylor working with Jack & Ethan, and Will & Edwin. The seven of you get on so well, and unfortunately, seven is too many for one channel but splitting into three was definitely the right move. All of you continue the great work on each of the channels, and we all look forward to the fun filled and action packed joint ventures.

It's crazy how we used to joke on old CT videos that the boys were getting towards Top Gear levels of compelling stories and production. Now it's a very similar story of going alone and getting way bigger.

As a father to a daughter, get the BeSafe Stretch carseat. Fits all of your sh*tboxes & keeps the baby safe in any car. The isofix nonsense isn't worth the hassle after the first year.

Exactly. Also, isofix is not better when in a crash than just a seat in seatbelts. The safety improvement is the fact it’s harder to make mistakes when mounting the seat.

@@jonathanedwards8913 actually no. A proper designed seat in a seatbelt is just as safe. In fact, when manufacturers still invested money into seatbelt only child seats it was pretty common for those seats to beat isofix only seats in tests. Seatbelts work very very well and isofix doesn’t “fix” seats. They still move a lot in a crash. Now, manufacturers still invest in isofix seats and not in belt only seats so isofix seats are safer. But that’s not because of isofix but because of lack of innovation in belt only seats.

​@@jonathanedwards8913 Isofix is for convenience. There is no proof that it is safer. Some of the safest car seats (as tested and proven in sweden where they legislate and test them), are seatbelt fastened ones (eg Axkid)

I think car throttle ended up with too many cooks in the kitchen. By the sounds of it cut funding on video likely because too many people at the top forgetting that the videos were what made them.

EXACTLY THIS, Alex was saying car throttle had a choke hold on everything the guys wanted to do. It had to go through so many people and by that time the car or event was sold or gone. This will be fantastic and already the TDC channel is showing everyone together

💯 just saved a bunch of time. Nothing against Ethan or Jack, but it was Alex that got me to CT. When Alex went solo, was bloody ecstatic! For me, Alex and crew is right up there with Cleetus. Can't help but notice that between CT and Hoonigan, everyone is leaving because that want to broaden their horizons. It's perfectly respectable reasons but borderline boring as it's all convenient timing. Just be honest FFS. Everyone has fucked off from CT as clearly it's run by a committee. Everyone is leaving Hoonigan because Ken is dead.

ethan: ugh, another 12 years of this, jesus!.... i HOPE its at least another 12 years of you guys working together making content YOU want to make. because IT. IS. GOOD. CONTENT. this little team, autoalex, TDC, and All The Gear, it's like old mates having fun hanging out in each other's garages on various projects and doing silly things with them. you have a long term charisma, good working relationships (otherwise why would everyone be there in the first place?) and that's why top gear and grand tour worked! you guys literally are assembling what is probably the successor to that torch, as the best silly fun happy and informative car program. i REALLY hope that's what happens, and either way im happy im part of it. cheers lads, drive on!

Its like those American shows where most of it is cut into sections of "coming up..." or after every advert break you get the "previously" part. Its just too much in my opinion. I know they usually have to dumb it down to the lowest demoninator but, its annoying lol
