Why Dolly Parton’s Husband Is Never Seen in Public | Rumour Juice

Ойын-сауық

Dolly Parton is known for being extravagant and very open with her personal life but the same can't be said for her husband, Carl Dean. The pair have only attended one red-carpet event together during the course of their 56-yearlong marriage! He shies away from the spotlight while she runs towards it so, in their case, opposites really do attract. We are looking at why they never had children, if her top-secret husband is really real, and the inspiration for some of her biggest hits like Jolene.

What do you think about choosing a career over children?

  • @SkyBlueRose96

I think it's ok to not want children. I hate that not wanting children is considered weird and selfish. I myself don't want children not because I hate them I just don't see myself as a mother figure if that makes sense? In the past I thought I wanted kids but on a subconscious level I think went along with it because Its "normal" to want kids and I never met anyone who didn't want kids plus all my exes wanted kids. Deep down I felt pressured to want to have kids but didn't want to admit it or even acknowledge it out of fear being judge and wanted to be normal Not having kids of your own doesn't make your life any less meaningful or unfufilling

We totally hear what you're all saying. It's okay to not want to have children, and be more career driven. We also think that society can sometimes put more pressure on women to have do both, but the truth is some women want to have kids and some don't and that's totally okay. And it's also totally possible to have kids and a career, women shouldn't have to chose either or. The most important thing is that they do what makes them happy, whatever the decision may be!

That is a hard nut to Crack. Children are a full time job, I know I raised two. And I forfeited a career. I don't think a career is as satisfying, too many hours can be wearing. Great to have a job but not before your husband and children needs. I am tickled when I look at my children and grandchildren, they are so satisfying for me.😍

I met her one time in Montgomery. She’s one of the most honest people I’ve ever met she did not even have to talk to me. She did and gave me an autograph and signed it with my pin. I wonder how fulfilling that marriage really is. The wonders of marriage is the melting together. My cousin and her husband had that marriage and it was special to see them together. Unfortunately he passed this last year after 54 years together. I have a love relationship with my man, like dolly s marriage. But it ain't great, we are actually friends, that's mostly it. Marriage should be a splendid thing..cause I believe in marriage with all its twists and turns. 🥰

She didn't choose that fate with her earthly body. The Universe said, "No Biological Children". (But that didn't stop Dolly from being a Mom!) Dolly took her life & made the best of the situation once she got through the sadness of the reality, of not being able to carry children, due to a health condition. She states facts that her career would not have been the same if she had raised children & that is a fact. She didn't choose her career over having children of her own, but that was the facts of reality & she is an over comer who sees the goodness of her life even if the cards play out a different way. I Love You Dolly Parton, From a Forever Fan. I was going to write you a letter myself & tell you, "Please adopt me, I would love you to be a Mom to me!" You were a Mother Figure to me anyways, without even knowing me. I watched everything you put on TV & learned from you, of how you handled things in your life, such as learning about "I Will Always Love You" was written to Porter Wagoner in a time he was being very unkind when he didn't want you to leave his show. And Because you remained loving & kind, God took that song & Beyond Blessed you! These are the things I have learned from you, Dolly! Thank you! You have more Children here in this World, that you may not know you have, til Heaven!
