Sliding bandsaw table = mind blown 🤯. This is awesome.

Well that is super badass! My much smaller bandsaw wouldn't be quite as amazing with such a setup, but I can still see huge benefits.

Beautiful. I use my bandsaw for as much as possible. Blades last longer due to more teeth, hardly ever need to be cleaned. Its a safer tool than the table saw and a good bandsaw with a good blade can cut things just as fast. I do as much of my lumber milling on the bandsaw as i can then run it through the helical head planer on the side. I've been thinking of putting a sliding table on my table saw and bandsaw for a while. Thanks for the video!

Awesome Idea Izzy, by adding a sliding table to the bandsaw brings endless ideas to mind. Especially when resawing logs into lumber.

This is awesome. Top of my list. A jig for sawing firewood into usable boards is what I need it for and many other uses.

It is a lot of fun to see you get excited about something like this. I was about to comment that I don't have room in my one car garage to add a lot of bulk to my bandsaw and then you said I could get rid of my cheap, lousy floor hogging jointer (brand will go unnamed). Hmmm.... have to rethink the idea. Darn you! Somehow I know that means more money invested in my shop - somebody help me with my addiction to wanting to have everything Izzy has!

if you have a router table, make a spit fence for it and you will still be able to joint!

Very nice project Izzy. Down here in mid-Michigan I built a big steel slider table for my bandsaw 2 years ago. Made 100+ 5-6 ft long square billets out of “firewood “. All 5 to 9” square. Used billets to jack up my sagging old 100+ yr old barn. It was spectacularly useful. As it happens, I Just took the sled apart last night - time to repurpose... and here you go with this beauty. Aluminum slider base with ply top is MUCH better for small stuff - I’m definitely going to rebuild something similar for my new shop (located in my newly leveled sweet old barn). Thanks so much for sharing your work and ideas...

Already working through some designs that we can build ourselves

Thanks it's a great addition for the bandsaw, I've never came across one with a slide table and like the majority of woodworker just having a fixed table on my bandsaw.

Want plans for that. I know all band saws are different but plans can be customized. WOW out of the park Izzy and that would solve my no joiner problem any longer and save me a tone of space in my tiny shop.
