Awesome addition to you band saw ,great job , great video , thanks for sharing !!!
👍 That's a excellent addition to a band saw!
Wow, I'm jealous of your setup ! This is amazing !!!
Necessity breeds invention, well done, Andrei! Rich
Thanks for making the Festool sliding table have an alternative use. I have an extra one and have looked for alternative uses. I stumbled on to your video looking at bandsaws. I also like your fence. I have a 60 year old Davis and Wells 20 inch bandsaw with an archaic fence and miter gauge, thanks again for the ideas.
Just started my first project using the FB510 , if you fancy a look . Will be going a video on just the FB510 showing the Blades I have bought to test after I finish my new bench
Awesome !....i can see lot's of advantages with the sliding table attached ! Great idea 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Very Nice !! :) Love your video's , projects and tutorials ! Thanks for sharing !!
seus trabalhos são magníficos! Parabéns
This is an incredible idea. I have all of the pieces here to get this done. Thank you for sharing!

Where can I buy this setup? I have a saw just not the table. Thank you
Absolutely ingenious! and such a simple solution too. You might be the first but I am sure after this it won't be the last!
Perfecto, Very nice
Great idea. I suppose you're using the bandsaw for economy, because if you make ten cuts on the table saw you've lost at least 3 cm of wood. With woods like Purple Heart and Padouk this can be significant. Like many of your viewers, I also enjoy your videos very much. All the best from Paris.

Right. I talk about this in Russian. I use 0.8 mm thick blade, so the kerf is about 1.2 mm. The standard table saw blade is 3.2 mm. Thanks!
🤔umm now that's an interesting add on and will certainly make cutting a lot easier thanks for showing this add on I did not even know there was such an item out there and wonder if it can be used in other cutting applications. Something for me to looking to 🙃thanks for showing this addition 🤗
Looks like a Felder bandsaw. Nice mod.
very nice thanks for the English subtitles but ingenuity and pictures speaks 1000 words. You have given me a couple ideas, thanks again for the video
I don't care what they say, I still thought this was a good idea! Glad you thought of it first. Funny, the things you can accomplish if you have the Money. Good job Andre
That's a great idea Andrei! Giving the amount of wood you cut in a year this should make savings quite noticeable! Cheers
Congrats on first!

This channel is one of my favorites. One of reasons is captions. Real captions, not one of those automatic crap captions.

Yes, good informative captions, but they don't seem to be verbatim. Looks like he's saying more than the captions reveal. Is that correct, Andre?
Wow, you did this 2 years before Izzy Swan

Very nice. I must ask as the panel gets short how do you keep square. Or not so important for you?
I want one
Very cool! Better patent it quick!
Please, put some rubber or a piece of wood in the sharp points of the sliding bar... your lovely kids play around the shop and the sliding bar its so low in height... Thanks for sharing, and sorry about my English. Saludos desde México.
Did you have to drill the Festool Rail system to make it fit the Felder table
@mtmwood

Yes.
Great idea!:).Perhaps you could influence a Felder enginers to design and produce a sliding tables for theirs bandsaws, but it is great sometimes to create something yourself from sources available within your workshop and for that I give you a Big thumb up👍.Thank you for sharing.Regards.Jacob

Sliding table is very useful on the big band saw. But this one is too weak for big panels.
Great innovation, the only one left to make is cutting from both sides or lasers! Question: If the slider is raised above the table, does this create an angle in the cut? ... I will keep this video from my wife or she'll want some for the kitchen lol.
Where can I get the sliding table and rails? Thanks
Is this something you made or purchased. If made do you have any plans? If purchased, could you provide a link to the slide? Thank you so much.
Where do I get these parts?
Who sells that aluminum crosscut table ?
Looks like felder listened to you or saw this video. They just released a sliding table bandsaw.
Hi, Where did you purchase this sliding table for your bandsaw? i'm looking for something similar!

I don't know. It is a Festool sliding table. www.google.ru/search?q=band+saw+sliding+table&newwindow=1&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwio47vj5dfeAhUNmYsKHQbGAM8Q_AUIDigB&biw=1666&bih=815
you should have patented this. Now there are lots of them.
I now have my FB510 , would be great to get some advice on best blade to use for crosscutting like this ? I am thinking of adding the Festool Sliding table as well :)

I use only 3 TPI. For crosscutting you need more teeth.

GRIGGIO "SWING 640" .

Thanks for this the 710 look amazing, I am about to order a 510 my self , I just wonder how straight the rips cuts are and if you have to user a joiner after when making your boards ? also do you this the X ceramic guide helps with straight cuts or just longer life?

@_stalkerok

magnificent I think the table saw is no longer useful!

For resawing, yes. However, table saw can make a less than a full depth cut, which is impossible on a band saw.
