For centuries, the Holy Bible has been a source of inspiration for people all over the world. It is the most widely distributed book today. The Bible is a part of our modern world and has influenced the foundations of Western culture. The Israel Institute of Biblical Studies aims to make the Bible accessible, live from Israel, to people around the world. Through Biblical study and language courses students connect with teachers in the Holy Land to learn the original languages of the Old and New Testaments. This allows them to interpret the holy texts themselves, while discovering the ancient land of the Bible where the stories took place. Find out more about the Old and New Testaments through the Jewish studies, and the connection between Judaism and Christianity.
Students benefit from a full educational experience with an entirely new dimension that immerses them in the Bible's texts, land, people, language, and culture. Our supportive and social learning environment ensures that students are academically challenged through the in-depth study of the Bible. Professional and passionate teachers from the Holy Land of Israel lead each online course, including: Exploring the Biblical Land of Israel, Discovering the Hebrew Bible, Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Greek. Learn the ancient languages of the original Bible, the Torah, and dive into the scriptures to learn the original meaning of the holy texts! The Israel Institute of Biblical Studies has been recognized by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the world as a prestigious academy for the study of Biblical languages, culture, and history.
Did you know that the Biblical Hebrew alphabet is different than the Modern Hebrew alphabet? Even Biblical Hebrew verbs, phrases, punctuation, syntax, and more are all different, and important to understanding ancient Holy Scriptures. The Israel Institute of Biblical Studies offers students the best teachers and a strong and supportive community combined with advanced technology that makes our live courses available to anyone anywhere in the world. Students can learn in their own time and even in their own language.

I think the riding on a donkey depicts a humble suffering servant in earthly form and in heavenly form he will come back riding on a horse to show his glory as the king of kings

When a king rides a donkey it is peacetime (Solomon) when riding the horse it’s wartime (e.g., David). www.gotquestions.org/king-ride-donkey.html

And when I was young, I did not understand animals like I do now. Now that my eyes are open n observant I realize how much I personally grew to love the donkey and have so much compassion towards them💔

I think it very possibly did not happen and is a literary device as "prophecy fulfillment". We do not have historically reliable data that it happened, especially as these stories tell it.

I've always understood that there are two ways for kings to ride into a town -- either: - on a donkey, symbolizing he comes in peace, - on a horse, symbolizing he comes to conquer or as a conqueror. It's neat to see this secondary aspect, where He first comes as a humble servant, and the Greek & Hebrew texts confirm it.

One of the highlights of the teaching of our Master is humility. True greatness comes with humility. In the kingdom of God, the most humble person is the greatest of them all. It is harder to be humble than to be proud. The world will only achieve peace once people follow the teachings of Christ.

Isaiah 53:5, he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes, we are healed. For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritan. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, They continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH, Obedience to God's command. God told Noah to build an ark to be saved. Noah believed and responded by building the ark. Mark 16:16. If you believe in this message, help spread it in the name of Jesus Christ so people can get saved the right way. God bless you!

He is Risen. Gracious Lord, in the Bible you are called "the One who sees me." and I know that your eyes are always upon me to guide and protect and bless and correct. You have given me eyes too. Grant me the power to use them to truly see Help me see those you put in my path really see them, with all their hurts, their desires, their longings, their needs, their joys, and their challenges. As you open my eyes, prompt me to open wide my arms to offer whatever help and encouragement I have to give. In Jesus’ name I pray amen. God bless you and keep you. Happy Easter.

Y'shua actually enters Jerusalem on a foal, upon which nobody has ever sat. This is important detail because it was actually the weekly Sabbath and working donkeys could not be used since they too were to rest on the Sabbath. This colt upon which nobody had ever ridden was therefore exempt. Hope this helps to truly see The Messiah entering on the 10th day of the first month to fulfil the Torah and the Prophets. Shalom

fallenSlave - Many followers of Jesus today use the Hebrew name Yeshua for Jesus. The reason is because Mainstream Christianity has destroyed the truth of Gods (Yahweh, YHWH, God Almighty Heavenly Father, Abba) word in the Bible. - It’s to separated themselves from those who really do not know the Jesus of the Bible, they may say they do, but they do not. Why, because they do not live by Gods word and follow His commands. Yeshua is Gods only begotten Son, Yeshua is our Messiah, Mediator, King. Trinity is False. God Almighty and His Son [whom He sent; he did not send himself] are One. One as united as one. Jesus is The Son of Man, God Almighty is not a man, nor is He the son of man, nor does He die, nor does He change ever. They are One not the same exact being. A husband and wife are also One, they are not the same person. ‘we’ is plural. We are One. Not the same exact being. God is not the son of man nor does he repent for sin. Look these scriptures up for anyone who does not yet understand that the Trinity is 💯 false. Learn the Word of God. Gods Word comes to us, taught to us, through His Son. No one has seen the Face of God Almighty, we saw the face of Jesus on earth, because he is the son of man, who was sent. We see the Father only due to learning His Word through our mediator that being Jesus, Gods Son. Jesus was given this authority, he is the beginning and the last. He is not Yahweh His Father. We have a God, The one and only true God Yahweh, who is also the God of Yeshua Jesus. The word God in the Bible was not used as we use the word God today. Example is Satan is also called a God. He is a God of this world, until his time is up, which is close at hand. Jesus 1000 millennial reign will begin soon enough. That is why the earth today is in ruins, because the God of this world is a false God. The world is fallen due to sin. However when Jesus rule begins because he is the only one who paid the price for sin, His rule over all the Earth will be eternal. He is the beginning and the last. He will rule as King over the earth because he is the son of man. Yahweh is God Almighty who rules both heaven and earth. Yeshua Jesus is King over the earth.
