Why are these wheels so much more expensive? BEADLOCKS! | Project 250R Part 10
The OMF wheels for project 250R came in and I noticed some difference in features and quality compared to other Beadlocks I've run before.

    Thanks for watching! What kind of beadlock do you run? Next week will be a video showing the mounting of these tires and some Project 250R welding before we send the parts to powder coat! 🤘

    No, I spent 2 days filming it and ran into issues with the local ordinance complaining while John and I were doing the runs and trying to fix the speed wobble. I will get around to doing that but right now the 250R is my focus.

    sweet looking wheels for the R . I tried holeshots a couple of times . the guys I rode with on the mx track in the early 2000s use to have all kinds of tire set ups for each track and conditions . my favorite was the maxxis razzr . when I had holeshots I found that they slid out easy on turns when you charged them hard in most mx track conditions . the maxxis razzr I never had a problem they hooked in every condition . lately ive been running the gbc xc masters because their half the price of maxxis not as good of side walls but they hook like maxxis in my opinion for the xc series I run

    Do you run a 6" front wheel if you do you should run a 3" off inter and outer. This will allow equal pressure all the way across your will and less tire shake. Do you have a camber caster on the quad? If so we set are cars at 9% to 11% with 1/8 toe out.

    Tire heights are not exactly equal either. Especially with cheap tires.some have bulges at random spots also.dragster racers even measure new tires and cut them to exact same heights since they are usually are not and have random bulges or high spots on brand new tires.over inflating to seat bead can supposedly cause bulges as well

  • @barkus921
    @barkus9214 жыл бұрын

    The way I see it, is the 250r or banshee won’t make enough hp to spin those on the wheel imo. But smooth with the lip would be good on the omf. Be a MF to seal up if they leak, the wheels look bad ass.

  • @MichaelSabo

    @MichaelSabo

    4 жыл бұрын

    I kind of agree that they're not going to make enough power to spin the tire on the rim, especially on dirt. But if you go to the track, pros are running beadlocks so there has to be a reason, something maybe I'm un-aware of.

  • @barkus921
