I realize its been 2yrs ago when this was put out but this is absolutely sick for him to build all his kids quads like this is pretty damn awesome!! My step dad growing up always made sure that not only himself but my 2 brothers, sister along with me always had a dirtbike of our own to go riding basically every Sunday unless we were camping or on another adventure and I cant even explain how much those days are so badly missed now that we've all grown and living our own lives so he's definitely building the right kinda memories imo!!

I grew up riding a 1986 Honda ATC 200x, I was 12 yrs old..my parents hated me riding so I bought it myself....kept me out of a lot of trouble ...it was always my dream to have my whole family riding one day...well, now that’s a reality I’m 41 and have 3 kids ..Madison (15) Ashley (11) Austin (8) Honda 300ex, Yamaha Raptor 80 , Yamaha Raptor 90, Yamaha TTR90 ....we drive all over visiting ATV Parks and its such good fun....we live on Long Island NY...so not many legal places to ride here!!!!! Love hearing stories like this!!! Great Channel....Great content ...Thank You

Awesome pics of the quads and dereks story. I myself have similar one. I have my 14 year old daughter riding on a 2000 Yamaha blaster that is basically hers now. I got cheap from a guy I know. She’s been riding for about a month now and this winter we’re gonna be buying some tires and wheels and a pipe for it. She loves riding. We ride just about everyday.

Because of you and Justin.I put my Honda 700XX up in th building.AFTER I got my Ol "R" back out.Since I bought th 700xx new.I love that Ol "R" iv'e had it since I was 14.I am 43 now.LOL Trying to save for my Mx TCS shock rebuilds by Rocket Ron hopefully,and an ESR 310 "Non Power Valve".Anyways...Just wanted to thank you Mike.I crushed my wrist and had to have surgery ,via a Tee plate,back in May.And I just say "Thank you " for giving this licensed Plumber,something to do.To keep me from hanging myself from the ceiling fan,brothers.HaHa. Jokin'.But,really I do say,to You and Justin. Thank dudes!!..And for those about to rock,..We solute You ....!!! Fire...!!

Can you please help me get info on how to set my Powervalve on my 2001 CR250 dirtbike. it has the powevalve thats ran off the engine speed, not the RC valve on the 2002 ran off the throttle cable. i need info on how to set the top of the powervalve linkage. i know u use a feeler gauge but need the poper way to set it. thanks so mucn in advance!

I rebuilt a powervalve on an 01 CR250; it was years ago though. I remember once I figured it out it wasnt to hard though. I'd hit some dirt bike forums or get a service manual. Off the top of my head I dont want to give you any misinformation.

5:26 does anyone know what headlights are those on the banshee im looking to get some for my 250r. and LEd is doing my motor and it will run on race gas but he is putting cr125 hinson clutch basket and plates and inner hub. but it will end up being a 265cc, bored head, hot rods crank, and full bearings and i am powder coating everything. this thing is going to rip. it was setup right so it was about as fast as a 310 but with all this it should be runnning with the 350's.

I'm actually not sure; I'm almost positive you can put YFZ450 a arms on a Banshee no problem, but YFZ450R, I am not sure. I'd hop on the banshee forums and ask!

It unfortunately didn't last all that long... Eventually he sold it and bought a YFZ450R.

I have heard you talk about breezewood proving grounds before in past videos. My wife is from Bedford so I have heard of breezewood before. Asked her about it and she looked at me like I was crazy. Just looked the place up. Wonder why its called breezewood proving grounds if it isn't even in breezewood.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's for marketing the business... Clearville is unheard of while Breezewood is basically the truck stop capital of the world and kinda known for that... Brings the mind to a more familiar area when communicating although Clearville is more so like a suburb of a city.

@@RelativeRealms Lectron carbs are jet-less carburators which makes them very popular on bikes that have jetting issues in stock form. They have their own issues as well. Sum believe ( myself included) a crisply tuned carb is able coax more hp from a engine. I've never owned 1 personally but almost everyone else I ride with has 1. That fab work on frame cross bolt was a sweet idea.

@@250rtrxjunkie While I appreciate your educated response, I'm Switzerland (neutral) on the Lectron debate. I was gifted my own issues with an FCR carb that has slightly less money in it than gas ran through it. I foolishly traded my trusty smoker for a money pit with 10hrs on it. I'm well aware of sound & performance being very different. Lectron carbs don't have AP's or leak jets or thousand other variables going on. But I know they're not cheap, not that anything worth while is. Thanks for the tech lesson. I may be of use you if need an after market float bowl recommendation or question about which clip to start from on main jet with pro circuit pipe or some other ancient technology.
