Good info. One minor gripe a +2 +1 will put more weight on the rear compared to a +2 +0. rk88r

Very Informative video! I now know why our Honda 400's do not wheelie as easy as everyone says that they do, we have 3 + a-arms. I only wish that the guy we bought the quads already done from remembered who's a-arm they where so I could get replacement parts for them.

Wish I’d seen this sooner. I went round and round with my 250r. Finally settled on LSR +2 +1 stock travel but had no idea why. Now I feel better about my choice since it fits my ride type.

Thanks for the info!…I have an 08 trx 450r would like to have oem shocks revalved but want to run +2 arms. What do you think about standard travel +2 arms? I’m just trail riding no racing just want the extra stability.

Standard travel is fine the only difference in long travel and standard travel is the leverage ratio of the shock, there is a no actual "longer" up and down travel of the wheel, just the shock. The longer wheel travel comes from extended a arms. A good shock tuner can achieve the same results on standard or "long" travel shock and a arms. I just got done doing +2 houser arms standard travel with stock revalves and spent months researching the topic.
