I don't know if I need a full kit or if I just need a main jet for an exhaust because my scrambler 500 is complicated to take apart

I have a 2004 yfz450 and It’s leaning out with the exhaust that’s on it now that’s has a hole in it so I wanting to buy the Lexx mxe and a jet kit, but I don’t know what jets/jet kit to buy

I live in oregon ride a 06 ltr450 love my state best place for sand riding

Im not a quad rider but wanted to give props for the lexx exhaust. Ive been rockin a system on my WR 450 since 2010 and it performs very well. I like the tip options. For those running the wide mouth they sell a spark arrester separate which a simple job to install.

I’ve got a 2014 TRX450R.....with paddle tires on the rear. We are taking it and our RZR-S 800 with mud lites in it to Little Sahara. My question is.....will the mud lites on the RZRS.....so well I’m the sand? They did great in the snow and ice....here in Texas in February. What tire pressure should I run in the paddle tires on my 450R....and in the mud lites?

Definitely outerwear on a k and n and probably not a bad thing for any filter Trust me on the Nerf bar's, saved me from the LT500 it was going to eat me alive and take me off.

It will vary depending on where you ride at but check out the JD Jetting jet kit. It will come with different jet options and will tell you what jets to use based off the mods your quad has and your elevation. www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/jd-jetting-jet-kit-p

I've found that a well oiled foam filter does a better job of keeping sand out of the motor than k&n. And i have never noticed a power difference between the two.

both UNI and Twin air are quality filters, just don't go light on the oil and you'll be fine.

if I am putting more power to my machine do I need to go up in my numbers on the fuel programmer

I'm using a pod filter with no air box will it affect the motor in the sand?

I'd recommend using a filter skins. ESPECIALLY if you aren't using an air box lid. It's better to be safe than sorry. Be sure to be using plenty of oil.~Chase

My quad has some problem where in first gear you push the throttle but in a couple seconds you can feel it lose power so you need to give it more gas. Do you have any thoughts on how to fix it?

I've seen smaller quads do fine in the dunes without sand tires so it all depends where/how you ride. But it'll be much better with sand tires and allow you to go more places.

Is there like a hybrid tire? Like a 50/50 AT/sand tire?

FMF only guarantees their headers to work with their silencers but in most cases, the Power Bomb will work with this exhaust.

I PROBABLY have a youth atv or it can be other but is it safe to go in mud without destroying the engine

Why do some say that a Kodiak (Utility ATV) won't perform as well as a sport ATV in the dunes? Is it the gearing? The Power curve? Weight? Or just opinion?

Cesar Moreno all of the above. I have personally ridden a kabiak at glamis but ride dirt bikes. It's already slow on dirt so it will be even slower in sand. But with mud tires you can cruise around on the sand without getting stuck, just don't expect a lot of speed or to climb every hill.

Can you do top 5 mx mods for the dunes?

How long do the tires last

Nathan, as long as you're not riding them on rocky, muddy or hard packed terrain, they should last you several seasons. Once you ride them on these terrains, they can start to chunk pretty quickly. Hope this helps!~Chase

yeah, I emailed you guys about it, the Tusk Brake and clutch lever didn't fit. I pulled them out, tried to fit them, but the housing was too thin to fit it, I ended up snapping the part that holds the clutch lever. now I have to order another one of those😞

I also have other parts that didn't fit, like the lock/nut spacer kit in Orange, and valve support seals in red.if I could get a refund on those, or put it into rm cash

3:34 doesn't understand why they restrict the air box... 1. Because a motor not running on water, mud, and dirt lasts a lot longer. 2. It's much easier to punch open a restricted air box. 3. It's designed to work with the stock exhaust. 4. A lot of owners never even clean the darn thing. 5. Think of all the aftermarket products dedicated to unrestricting the air box? Just some thoughts but I get it, that discussion is not really in the context of the video, but that Lexx exhaust looks sweet!

Brandon Doucette Jets definitely, air box is optional. I jet my stuff for lid off. But when I know I’m going to be around mud and water the lid goes on. It runs a little fat but I’d rather have that then mud and water through my engine
