Tim Legler is starting to become my favourite meadia analyst. Every word he drops has extensive knowledge behind it. He would be a damn good hire for any team in the league. I would let him build my team.

Ant was actually better when a team blitzes him compared to what suns did in the regular season. But he figured that out and forced them to single cover him.

Denver vs Minnesota is a 50-50 battle. There is no favourite. You have a team assembled by Connelly and then he went to Minny, where he found some great pieces and coach by Rosas, and completed a team to face Denver. This should be the Finals and whoever comes out of this is going to be one of the favourites for the title. And something else I'd like to note is that there is a great respect between the two teams. It's not like the Suns coming and although they finished 6th, they think they are better than us.

Regarding the point where they were talking about it getting to a point where Mike Conley or NAW might have to hit threes for the wolves to win. First off, they have been doing that. However, the Wolves don’t need that necessarily. They have the best three point shooting 7 footer ever and the 6th man of the year who also shoots above 40% from down range. I think the Wolves showed this in game two. They have an arsenal of guys who can go off, and at the same time they will still get steady production from Ant, Towns, Conley, Gobert, NAW, Mcdaniels…. This team should be feared. They have weapons all over and are a defensive nightmare.

The Wolves defense will beat the Nuggets offense. Edwards on Murray, double team Jokic, rotations on the other players. Wolves send them home!

I agree with Adam's take on sitting Murray. Just play RJ and CB more, and have everyone else do more, including Jokic attacking AD. Should be able to win game 5 without Murray as long as they play with intensity and passion.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that possession. It was absolutely perfect. Followed by Ant's soul crusher and that's a wrap. I'll take Minnesota over Denver cuz Denver has no one who can even slow down Ant. Plus KAT is playing smarter. Jokic was helpless against Ant last year. TF yall think is going to happen with a three Big rotation?

The Phoeniz Suns played super desperate and you can see it. This was a MUST WIN. They literally did everything they can. KD and Booker was trying everything.. but the difference was Ant. He hit some clutch shots and hammered the nail in the coffin with the dunk right over KD. Ant is the type of player that the more pressure and intense the game gets, he gets even BETTER. 🐜🐺

Do you not call what the Suns did as blitzing him? They were sending two or three at him - I guess it was more hedging but they were many times hedging into a blitz. More-so than any other series I have see

Wouldn’t think so. Lakers are a much better team then Suns. Yes T-Wolves are good and the the T-Wolves vs Nuggets is going to be very close! However I don’t think their first round results are reflective of what we’ll see in the T-Wolves vs Nuggets series. Suns we’re walk overs for the T-Wolves! No fight what so ever. Lakers proved to be a much harder first round match up then Phoenix were. Still got Denver winning the west at this point. Unless injuries change that. However the T-Wolves are more then capable of winning the west as well. I’m looking forward to the second round.

The Bucks arent "cursed", they are screwed. They threw in their chips, and blew up their team for a 30+ year old PG. Edit, he is also 6' tall (if that) and doesn't or can't play a lick of defense.

We’ve known it since the beginning of the season as soon as the wolves beat the Celtics in Boston and the nuggets. The doubter kept doubting, but the wolves are built to win Now. Edwards has taken that next step and this team is so fun to watch

Wolves are legit. Enough with excuses "They don't have play off experiences. They don't pass Sun. Gobert will get exposed. Etc" This is a different Wolves from a year ago. Nuggets should really take Wolves seriously. They are 2-2 and should've been 3-1 vs Nuggets this season.

Nuggets Timberwolves (if Denver advances) won’t be close if Denver shoots this poorly like they have through the season from 3 and Jamal plays poorly/hurt. It feels more likely it’s Minnesota season to get to the finals like it was Denver’s season last season.

My point is this isn't Boston, that shoots like 40+ 3's a game, and when they aren't falling they regress to iso ball. Denver can score at all three levels. Jamal is key though, we are together there.

@@marcusfrm6263 Maybe you haven't been paying attention during the season. Minnesota is not that good in the clutch, nor offensively. They have an excellent defense, but are a particularly high scoring team. And Denver is the best in the league in the clutch

This Luka conversation is identical to how I feel about Jamal Murray. Denver cannot win if Jamal continues to take this many shots and be this inefficient. Oh and now he has a calf strain. Don’t see Denver beating the wolves if this continues. Sincerely, a die hard nugs fan

While I agree Luka hasn’t played up to his standard this series at all Adam made David Robinson getting OWNED by Hakeem sound way better (for Admiral) then it really was😅. “He averaged like 28 PPG, 12 RBG and 4 BPG.” It was actually only 24 PPG 11 RBG and 2BPG on 44.9% FG% (17.9 Gamescore) while Hakeem was a God tier 35 13 5 4BPG on 56% FG% (Gamescore 28.2). I’m sure part of what Adam was referring too was Robinson wasn’t nearly as efficient as usual or up to his 94-95 MVP standards, but still 28 12 4 def sounds better then 24 11 2 😅. Lakers only chance is if their 3-9 (even just 3-6) plays better then games they did in games 1-3. AR Rui D-Lo averaged 47 PPG in regular season but only 36 PPG in this series. Game 4 they scored 51. Game 2 (in game they were ahead 97% of the game) Lakers 4-9 had only 18 points in 121 mins on 7-24 (3-12 3s) in 2pt loss. If that was a stolen bad 9-24 & 4-12 threes they win game. Murray had been god tier efficiency in 2020/2023 PLAYOFFS (39 game sample on way to WCF and🏆) and overall averaging 26, 7, 5, 1.5 stocks on insane 49/42/93 splits so the fact he’s 4-5 less PPG then that on 38/21/85 splits while lakers have held the lead for 3.5x as many mins as Nuggets yet still down 1-3 in the series tells me (assuming Murray healthy) Nuggets win game 5 pretty easily. Their due to be up after 1st quarter and at half and Murray due for great game while D-Lo so far has been horrid then good every other game this series. AD & Bron prob due for regression game too as they’ve both been very good 27/23 GameScores for series and anything about 20 is very good. Lakers problem is MPJ & AG 33-34 Gamescore combined while AR D-Lo Rui are 25 Gamescore COMBINED! Lakers had a good shot at this being 2-2 or 3-1 (with how well they played first halves and taking advantage of Murray being super off as well as KCP Braun 3P% plummeting so far) but they couldn’t take advantage (game 2 especially). I hope it goes 6 or 7 (no dog in the fight just LeBron and Jokic two of my 6-7 non Pacers players ever with MJ Bird Hakeem Isiah Wemby)…but all of my money in this series and 90% to win title on Nuggets other 5% Celtics & 5% Bucks before season started for everyone and more on nuggets before playoffs started).

I really dont think Luka is healthy enough. His defence is always gonna be an issue, but he's not driving to the rim and he's missing shots he consistently makes. If he keeps at this level I dont know how far they can go

It always amazes me how little these people watch on games they talk about when this is their entire job. He looked at the box score from game 2 and a few game clips and said Edwards was a leader didn't let his bad shooting night get to him. Then 10 minutes later he says we have not seen Edwards be blitzed and see if he makes the right decisions. Well that's exactly what happened game 2. The suns blitzed him with defenders and he got rid of the ball and McDaniels scores 25.

If Denver advances and beat the wolves they’ll be exhausted by the finals. If the wolves win there’s no ceiling. Digest that before you judge.

Tim also said, LeBron should retire. So, let’s not pretend that he’s an Oracle of sports insightfulness and knowledge…

I think Luka discovered too late in this season, that he has to guide the rhytm of the team as a whole better, to really be successfull in this league. And not only get his and throw a few lobs and make a few skip passes from time to time. So he has the problem of loosing his own rhytm because of these growing pains in his game throwing him off. But I bet he will be insane next season, when he settles down into this playstyle. Because when that is combined with Kyries shotmaking and the role players he has now, Dallas will be scary. But i don't think he can fastforward this in these playoffs. Even if they edge out the Clippers.

Ummmm.... excuse me but Naz and Jaden were injured last season? Kat and Gobert had 0 chemistry as Kat was out a large portion of the year. So the personnel got extremely bigger. Did you not see that 25 pt game by Jaden? Did you not see how Jaden improves the Wolves defense like 2x more? He took away Booker for multiple games... now imagine what he'll do to Jamal Murray? Just imagine these defensive matchups. Jaden on Jamal, Ant on Aaron Gordon, Kat on MPJ, Gobert on Jokic and mike on whoever else they pick as pg. The defense the Wolves will bring are going to suffocate the Nuggets.

I think the part where they said Minnesota will need a dozen defensive sequences like that against the Nuggets to win is extremely out of touch. Did LAL have a dozen in those three games? The one they won and the two that went down to the final seconds? Not at all. LAL are nowhere near the defensive team MN is and they put up a fight.

Leggs OG was frinting Embiid for the last 5 mins denyinh him the ball. When he dud get it it was late in the shot clock & other times he got doubled & pass out but his team mates bricked. Scoring the ball wasn't why Sixers lost. The knicks were 6/21 fg in 4Q. It is not grabbing rebounds especially defensive ones that caused Philly to be in this position. Knicks was a +10 with 7 Orebs in the 4Q.

Lost all credibility re comment on Clippers. Wolves DOMINATED the Clippers more than any other team in the regular season. No size for LAC, and PG / Kawhi / Harden were completely neutralized by Wolves swarming perimeter D.

Luka being injured has completely ruined his shot. When Kawhi is hurt we thought it was a free win for the Mavs, but Luka being hurt now has completely evened out this series. Luka isn't exactly going to heal overnight, so he's hurt the whole series. I can definitely see the Clippers winning this in 6.

HARD to make a blanket statement .. for example, I'm a fan of kawhi Leonard so I know he was not himself even though he was out there. I do think if he was 80/90 percent he would have impacted the game more.. I applaud players like Joel embiid who fight through injuries even hobbled trying to make a difference but we can't act like we don't know they have injuries

The League has already decided Denver will win in 5, sorry Wolves fans. More bad news as the League breaks up the Wolves following the end of season. Why? The owner is nothing but money hungry and backed out of the sale, plus the want (and need) west coast teams to be better (listening Lakers?).

Weird how most of the national media guys picked that “sad and pathetic” team to win the series… They won 49 games wtf are you talking about? They look sad and pathetic because the Wolves just sonned their ass. The team that was in 1st place in the west the majority of the season, with the best defense in a decade, a lot of depth, and an absolute monster in Ant, swept a playoff series against 2.5 guys? Craaaazy. KD must be washed, legacy over, only averaged 27, 6.5, and 3. He probably just sucks now it’s not that the other team is just a way better team.. Couldn’t be that. (I know legs didn’t say that but people are)
