If you’re picking the ‘06 Heat-Mavs MVP it would be the refs’ touch fouls in Dwyane’s favor. 🙄

Drives me crazy as a Rockets fan how forgotten our 65-win team already is. Hamstring away. This whole convo is so relavant to that team and Harden's legacy as a guy who didn't win a title.

Fun fact , right after that 2006 Finals that Legs mentioned DWade shooting an astounding 97 FT's in 6 games after Dallas going up 2-0 is when Donaghy and the boys went under investigation...

Tim said the Mavericks shouldn't have touched Kyrie last year and said they will regret it.. called him a basketball narcissist.. Tim jumped on the mavs bandwagon 2 months before the season ended but is getting all the praise.. Shaq predicted the mavs to win the title last year right after missing the playoffs but gets no credit.. give all the credit to the YT man but no one acknowledges Shaq and his prediction, i sense racism

I can't believe legs is so stupid about basketball. Jokic has the weakest chip and nba history and I don't care how many fruad mvps he has, he will never beat a 50 win team and never will. He isn't even in the top 10.

I kind of feel like the finals is a matchuo between a modern bball team in the celtics and mavs being more older school. Hybrid version but got 2 trad bigs. Hybrid in that the best player is the point gaurd.

for those of you who say Luka and Kyrie can't play defense #1 you have no basketball IQ #2 Luka leads the playoffs in steals (guess he's lucky) #3 Dallas has beat every team they faced by beating them as a visiting team. #4 have you ever seen Tatum and Brown end in a game 7 minutes into the 2nd quarter? did you see what Luka and Kyrie did to minnesota on the Wolves homecourt? yeah took no defense there.!!

Luka's stats are playoff elite . he's 1st in every stat. When he beats the Celtics their is no conversation of best player . Luka's run to the championship was on the road and he was the underdog in every series and the Celtics team is stacked. so no more comparing Luka to Ant ,Shai or Tatum he is the best player in the NBA along w/ Jokic and Embid if healthy.

  • @steviechampagne

After trading for Gafford and PJ, I considered Dallas a dark horse to make the conference finals. My money is on the Mavs. The chip on Luka's shoulder, the poise and leadership Kyrie has played with this year, I won't bet against them. (They also happen to be two of the greatest shot makers we've ever seen) Been listening to you guys all season. Can't wait to see the platform grow. Great, great commentary all year. THANK YOU Adam and Legs for the incredible work 🙏

Legler, I don't appreciate you mentioning Dwayne Wade as one of the all time greatest NBA finals performance, but thanks for including the enormous amount of free throws rewarded to him. During the the 2006 Playoffs, Dwyane Wade was averaging 9.3 FTA through his first 19 games but that went to ALMOST DOUBLE in his last 4 Finals Games where he'd average 18.3 FTA and win 4 in a row vs. Dallas Mavericks. Definitely a rigged finals, even NBA Ref Tim Donaghy admitted it was. Good God! 18.3 free-throws per in final 4 games??

Derek white will put up 230 point games Celtics will win in. 6 games or less. All this and Luca and Carrie are pretty good players. But man yellow overridden, these dudes have no. D dirt Jones at PJ Washington. Can I stop Tatum and brown? They have no chance

Love the show guys. Appreciate listening to fellow hoop heads who actually know their stuff! *Rozier had a terrible shooting game in that 2018 Game 7 loss vs Cavs (not Jason Terry Legs). Rozier was 2-14 including 0-10 from 3. LeBron dragged that Cavs team to finals though and they were still underdogs in that season. Averaged 34, 9, 8, & 2.2 stocks on 52% FG% and 41% 3P% in 2018 ECF and 2nd best player Love averaged 13 10 2 0.7stocks on 38/27 splits! Celtics that series outside of Lebron had the 5 highest PPG guys after Lebron. Rondo won title as PG with 2 teams but he didn’t start for Lakers. He was important that playoff run though in 2020.

totally disagree Legs.... a player's value is like owning a stock.... That stock is worth exactly what it's *perceived* to be worth and has no actual attachment to the real value... So, just talking value, if i was a billionaire and wanted to buy the best possible player in the world..... who would i buy today???? LUKA !!! There's not another player in the league who is even close .... after that, you can take all your stats and go have a wiener roast....

The questioning stems from hearing nonsensical opinions! Some comments seem to exist just to argue the opposite side! This makes much of national TV unbearable to watch! Think of Chris Broussard and the guy with long hair on Fox Sports! You guys are not bad altho I prefer the X&Os over narrative and feelings! Keep up the good work!
