@@zUJ7EjVD I am just a student too. But I'm sure it's not just the government that can take action, because if so, TED has no reason to mobilize all of us. They keep telling us to eat local food and plant trees, those are what we can do. Although there must be obstacle, like I don't know where locally grown vegetables are, or there are no campaigns aiming to plant trees around me to join. But that's when we have to take action, not waiting for someone to. Maybe start our own campaign, or do research and write a blog telling which food is grown near you. Anything. I admit that it's not easy at all to take action, but we still have to. And this event quite help us to find like-minded people, so that taking action is much less hard. This is my opinion, what do you think?

Carbon dioxide is plant and tree food so just cause more trees to be planted

Act today yes - not to overwhelm you all but a gradual change is encouraged. I cut back on so much, I try to do what I can, sometimes it's not possible depending on the circumstances one is under. To me this is a team effort, do what you can, get your family and friends to do so too and if you can help those in need. Some people don't have the choice to change their lifestyles but if you can it really doesn't hurt to do it.

I chanched alot in my life, first i started change my diet then, redusing purchase aclothes to proctet the enviorment and i try to do usful somthing for my self, my community and enviorment.

This video is very inspiring to me. I totally agree. If we start to change our habits now, like changing diets and commutes, organizing, planting trees, advocating for better ideas, and advocating for science to protect the environment, it will save our lives in old age and untold generations later. What we do today will have an impact on tomorrow. Start with small things and yourself, because if not us, then who else?
