Lorewise speaking, Grimgor was one of the most powerful beings on the planet. There was an occasion when he was soloing an entire under-city. He became so bored and left because it was too easy. He is also supposed to be bigger than an average ogre.

He also got his ass beat by Archaon’s second in command. Lore wise there’s about 20 characters above Grimgor in the pecking order of best fighter.

Depending on RNG, the skill could do nearly half of his health. Over its duration, it rolls a 50% chance to do 424 damage 8 times, so its potential damage ranges from literally 0 up to 3392 depending on how lucky the target got. A quarter of Grimgors 7000ish health is the most likely outcome, statistically speaking.
