It is nearly unquantifiable to understand just how fast Skarbrand has to be moving at a constant speed in order to kill, maim, burn from the Old World to Dark Elf Central...in an average of like 3 WEEKS.

I like to think the chaos gods intervened with time and kept everybody that wasn't actively being slaughtered in sort of a groundhog day time loop

I’d love to see the reactions of different factions essentially seeing multiple nukes going off in a matter minutes while a path of fire and blood covers the land. More importantly I’d love to see Archaon’s face as he foresees his own death in like 10 minutes.

Sieges certaintly got a lot less bearably with the chang to then main control point being locked. Before that Skarbrand could literally just run in, capture the town square and then fight till the timer runs out but now you actually have to win the sieges ugh

The "assault and raze the settlement to cross to the island when you auto-move afterwards" is definitionally an exploit but that absolutely doesn't detract from the achievement, awesome work

Clever use of game mechanics. Thats j ust how the mechanic works. It pushes you back X distance til you reach land you can stand on. He didnt infinite money glitch by bugging the game code with duplications by swapping inventories in a sketchy way. he literally used the game the exact way it was designed, by definition, not an exploit.

@@bunnieskitties293 That *is* an exploit, and what separates an exploit from a bug. An exploit is intended mechanics behaving correctly but having an unintended result, which is clearly what happened here.

That is not an exploit, it is a mechanic. Backspace halts your army...

Funny moment when the few times you actually pull other armies into battles for your side. Immagine being the General issuing the order to help a Blood crazed demon taking a city or whatever and that it is a good idea and then be like... oh they are coming for us now... well bois... we are dead. Also learned a lot from this about backspace etc as that stopped my turns a lot as skarbrand and i guess some positioning haha. Also that there is a trait limit, huh didn't realize unttil now guess it makes sense.

Total War is a empire building war game where all the Mighty Empires clash.... Skarbrand: Hold my beer

It would be interesting to see how the world reconstitutes itself with the power vacuum in so many regions, as many of the primary factions in the regions you went through were wiped out.

That's what I understand Cultist of Khorne, that in 8 turns he made Ultimate win the campaign, great job!

hehe fight and starts out by running zigzag untill the ai is out off ammo xD haha, bit unneeded, you can manage so few losses there having full army engagement that you are 100% next turn ^^ what a long fight you must have had using those tactics and i can imagine the stories told by survivors stunned off skarbrands unorthodox tactics and behaviour; definately a blow to the head of that guy :P

Wow. Just Wow. And I thought taking Lothern on turn 8 was an achievement as N'Kari. You did it as part of just one turn! Got to wonder could he have made it to Cathay as well. I'm guessing yes. Reminded me of a game of checkers/draughts where one player jumps the other players entire set of pieces in one turn. Just imagine you're playing a multiplayer game and this happens. The Skarbrand player simply informs all other players on Turn 8 to get some food and drink as their turn is going to be a long one. Oh and they will be killing most of them this turn.

I think im more scared of the fact that all those chaos dwarfs were over lvl 20 on turn 8

I actually prefer to think of this as Skarbrand Saving the world. Imagine: The CW endgame was going to happen on turn 8 regardless and surly it would have been then end of everything and the enslavement of the entire world to work in their terrible industry. Knowing this future, Tzeech sets the conditions and influences the positioning of certain cities in specific locations decades in advance to set the conditions for Khorn's champion to do his thing. Skarbrand then takes advice from that old man adviser fella telling him "Khorne's will" or something and just sets skarbrand lose to save the world before it is burned to the ground by the chaos dwarves....burning everything to the ground along the way. You're welcome.

I always wanted to know how it was possible to "bounce between cities" when playing as Skarbrand or Taurox and now I finally know how to do! I was never aware, that you could stop the forced movement after razing with Backspace! Also that decision making on when you had to Backspace and when you'd just let him finish his walking after the raze. That was very educational and of course an amazing achievement ^^ Just for curiousity, do you remember how many battles you had to fight manually and how mich IRL time it took to complete this run? ^^

I don't really know, something like 80 battles manually, probably double that in total with auto resolve. As for how much time, it was actually much faster than I thought it would take me, since this isn't the first time I was doing it, something like 3 to 4h a day for a week, so between 20 to 30 hours. You just use Skarbrand and the bloodreaper to solo entire armies, it takes a while, but it is worth it in the end :P

You get movement back after razing settlements or winning battles. The more campaign movement you have the more movement you will get back.
