    Ramana Maharshi was the last living Buddha. I don't mean there wont be more to come, but only that he was a genuine Nirmanakaya just as Shakyamuni was, a real Buddha in human form, but there have been no others since. ❤🙏

    Sri Ramana Maharashi never ever wrote a book in his life and he barely talk, food for thought. First westerner to meet Maharashi was Paul Brunton as it appears in his book: “a search in secret India.”

  • @albundy9597

    @albundy9597

    Consciousness is when there is something that feels like it is to be you, pure is just a word tacked on to it. Spiritual teachings are full of meaningless words, they enhance the teacher who teaches non-duality but ignores there is two, the teacher and the student.

    There is a mind, there is a body, there is pain. But who experiences all this?

  • @jmac4952

    I can tell you one thing. I would say that something like depression or anxiety is another kind of pain that people experience that can be equally as painful as physical pain. I have done self-inquiry maybe 4 hours a day for the last 4 years and I can tell you that depression and anxiety are virtually gone. And when I say virtually I mean that they only arise for a moment or two prior to my surrendering them and my reaction to them to God. And so there is really none of that kind of pain anymore. The other thing that this process does is psychologically you begin to experience the world like a dream. And yourself like a dream character. So I am now able to look at the worst of the worst situations in the world and the peace that is obviously what I am does not fade away or get overcome by some negative emotion. Self-inquiry is like the most incredible antidepressant you have ever taken. It is simply incredible.

    @@GnosticElohimEvery time you feel A disruption of peace, whether it is emotional, mental, or just some bad event in the world that you see - give it to God. And at the same time give the sense of me that feels the pain, anxiety, anger or whatever it is to God as well. That part is very important. Give the disturbed me to God. Do this at least 50 times a day. Just make yourself constantly do it. You will most likely feel no relief for the first year. But keep going, keep doing it and doing it and doing it and doing it. Your mind will tell you that it's a joke, that it's ridiculous, that it doesn't do anything but just keep going regardless. You have to have the discipline to keep doing it. I would say after about a year you will start noticing that it is completely changing your life. And you will find that every time some negative experience arises in your awareness that instead of thinking to give it to God you will automatically do it. Or rather your mind will automatically do it all by itself. And so what happens then is every negative experience becomes an opening to God. And Call It Whatever You want. Source, Higher self, etc. The name doesn't matter. Just imagine that there's something there, a beneficent creator, that wants to help you that you have cut off from and it's your responsibility to reconnect to it. And then just keep doing it until you feel the effect. It took me about a year and a half to where I started noticing that this shit actually works. I've been out at over 4 years now about 3 to 5 hours per day. Prior to that I did a lot of other spiritual stuff but I've been really dedicated for the last four plus years. If you don't stick with it it won't work. It's up to you. I just pretended like there was a source that could help me that I cut off from and it was my job to reconnect and then I waited to see if it was true by carrying out the practice. What I found is that it is true. Of course this is only my experience but this simple practice has profoundly changed my life. But I had to keep doing it I had to stick with it even when it felt like it was a joke and doing nothing. Overtime that sense of it being a joke will transform into something that feels completely metaphysical and amazing. But you've got to stick with it and you've got to do it even though it feels like it's not doing anything. It's all up to you. Nobody can do it for you and you don't need any more explanation than what I've given you.

    At the start of the video it’s mentioned 14 questions and answers, then changes to 13 then 28 in published editions. Why the disparity?
