I am 5 years late to the party, but wanted to express my profound appreciation for your work here. Your voice acting is masterful. Full of kindness, compassion and resonance. Hi, this is a great gift, to be able to listen to this dialogue. Notice that Plato also used the dialogue format for his discourses. However, I need assistance with something. I would like to include parts of this Talk on a CD I am planning to make for someone who would not ordinarily listen to a long dialogue on this topic. Is there a way to edit this Talk? I would like to intersperse it with music back and forth, to help open his mind to these deep reflections. I can't use the whole of it though, just select portions; I am totally ignorant of how to edit audio files, but maybe someone out there can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

The mind cannot know what is beyond the mind (reality), but what is beyond the mind can know the mind. However, what is this knowing by the non-mind? Mind cannot know it, so how would it differ from unconsciousness, say of deep sleep, i.e., would we ever know we have it, or see it, or know it? He implies yes (c 42"). He reaches the same conclusion as Socrates, that the only thing we can know is that we do not know anything (c 1:45).
