At 3:13 you'll understand why Whitney THE HOUSTON is and will forever be a LEGEND. The way she was celebrating and praising the young girl's rendition shows how GIVEN and supportive to ACTUAL TALENT she was. Unlike other 'divas' who feels threatned by young girls and newcomers, Whitney KNEW her talent and therefore she always saluted and celebrated others. She wanted to see people win.

Miguel Alves True! I can feel her appreciation towards the young talents. Good thing Celine Dion is also doing the same. These 2 ladies will always be my ultimate favorite. Even Mariah is my favorite however, she doesn't show the same way as what Celine and Whitney have shown when it comes to appreciating other people's talents.

  • @vilmaoropeza349

Jayzee Gariguez The reason why Mariah and Celine was after Whitney in tehir prime is just because even if Mariah had better technique her voice was kinda girlish in compare with Whitney! Whitney had the most feminine and natural voice! Yes Mariah's voice was sweet and warm but Whitney's voice was greater( and i talk in past tense because now Mariah can't sing as in the past)!

That's the reason Mariah always came second after Whitney, just because Whitney's voice is much better! Even if Mariah had better technique her voice is kinda girlish in compare with Whitney!

No is not subjective! I asked 2000 people from Bulgaria in 2015 who they prefer and 1998 of them told me that they prefer Whitney's voice! And why ou kids even compare legends? They can't be compared! Only an unintelligent kids can compare them! And to be honest on that earth there are better vocalists than Mariah! I'm sure that there are even better singers than Freddie Mercury or Pavarotti or even Maria Callas!

I believe the song at 7:53 is "At Last" by Etta James. The song at 4:50 is actually named in the clip. And this clip just proves that Whitney never lost her voice. Sure there was damage done and she lost some of her range. I be if she would have stopped smoking and done the required work she would have once again thrilled us with that God given instrument.

Whitney Houston will always be am unforgettable icon. There will never be another Whitney Houston. I don't care how good another one sounds. Her voice was created by God and it was unique. Designed only for Whitney Houston. We miss and love you. R I.P.

Tangiia Enjoy absolutely not. Mariah Carey's voice is incomparable and remains unprecedented. Whitney knew it as well. Leona could've been the next big thing, but not on Whitney or Mariah's level. I love her voice

Madea They are great singers but the reason why Mariah came second is because even she had better technique Whitney's voice was more feminine and more natural! Most of the people prefer voice over technique! Mariah has smooth and warm voice but is kinda girlish in compare with Whitney's voice!
