White Seabass Fishing from the Surf!

I finally landed my first white seabass from the surf. I'd spent 9 months prior to this moment trying to learn how to fish the surf with swimbaits and how to catch a white seabass from the surf, and I finally did it! I will admit that when I started in August... it was possibly the worst time to begin a journey like that, but at the very least, it prepped me for May *when I caught this) when white seabass season typically turns on.

Congratulations! You deserve it brother! I’m still after my first 👻‼️ I recently caught a legal halibut in a river about 1 mile from the mouth. Was thinking LMB and then it was a really dark Hail and 22” too. On the YoZuri hydro minnow 150

Heck yeah bro!! I’ve only caught juvenile ones in the surf. That was a beast. Good seein you out this morning! I totally get the excitement. You prob heard me hollering when I sight fished that bean this morning. Next time, you’re coming along with the squad. Haha

Gotta start somewhere man! Put in the time and you’ll get there. Like I said, I started fishing with swimbaits literally less than a year ago and it was rouughhh to start. Took double digit skunks until I had a wee bit of success and all the time and discovering new spots eventually paid off🤙
