Genuinely looking for feedback from anyone Diy or in the trade it’s a very important subject as we know some Glow Plugs can fall apart in the engine once they get old and some brake on installation.

O oh Just ordered some Bosch plugs will install with your screwdriver tip thanks.
Your question got me curious about it so I looked up the denso glow plug chart and it looks like that thay are all running the 1kd plugs denso part no. dg-245 except for a 4runner with a kzn130 motor and it takes dg-648 which looks like the short housing long prob that you showed last, so it looks like thay have been updated to the new model 🤔👍😁 but have a look at their catalogue chart to make sure
Do you work on patrols like td42
I use NGK in all my vehicles. I ran them in my 90 series, mates run them in their Luxes... no fuss and no worries, great bang for buck.
I know this is a Toyota page but I do use ngk in my ranger and haven't had problems just fuel problems from personal fault
just grabbed some fuelmiser, the original glow plugs looked like they have a smaller tip
Both NGK & BOSCH don’t brake but make engine noisy! The choice yours my friend ❤
I owned a Pajero NT and a Challenger, both 4M40, they have an ECM that keep them 3 minutes on in cold starts, so it was mandatory to put quality glow plugs. After multiple experiences the best brand in my opinion is Bosch, quite as good as original. The HKT do their job but doesn't last that much and was not so quick to get hot. Never used NGK but in my opinion is a good brand. In term of price, the HKT is the cheapest, Bosch cost 2x of the HKT and the originals could cost 6x more than HKT, so I consider Bosch has the best value for money. No expierience with Toyotas, have a 1GD now, so I will follow the recommendation from Anthony to not change them 😊, and being direct injection I have listen that they are not so important in cold starts as in indirect injection diesels like 1kz or 4M40
I use NGK with no problems.
I just bought Fuel miser FGP113 for $14.75 each….. hopefully, Anthony is right on the quality. I’m sure he is
just ordered 4 NGK's for my vauxhall vectra and only £16 the set
