With D'Addario it's worth trying a lower tension for the basses and one higher for the trebles. For example EJ45 basses with EJ46 trebles.

I've used EJ25 (green) sets for years. They're available in bass sets only (SCF-3) - I generally get through around 4 or 5 bass sets before the trebles need changing.

Thanks . I will look into those. I used to buy the EJ45 in a set of 10 so as to change just the basses but they don't seem to be available anymore.

Do you mean on KZread or in person ? How basic. Do you already play guitar? I could do a few videos, but there are so many on KZread already.

is it true that hard tension will be less sustain ?

I don't thinks so, but hard tension will produce more volume.

And you'll be wasting 3 pounds. I garantee you those are not real D'addario strings.
