Great strings, I use the same but I like the composite 3rd Daddario string

I have a takamine c132s made in 1974 and I use the savarez medium also but the full set. It makes that guitar come alive and sound like a much more expensive guitar. All the other string brands make the g sound dull and thuddy.

Savarez Aliance set?

Savarez makes a Classical Guitar string set w/ a Wound G String, the Wound G string is made like the other 3 Bass strings of a Classical Guitar (Nylon wound in Metal). What I do rather cleverly here is I tie Guitar string ball ends onto the ends of the strings so that they have more clearance over the saddle.

I don't recommend hard tension, they can be a little bit louder, but playing in higher positions and using bar accords can be hard 😅 you can still put hard tension for basses and the trebles can be just normal tension.

I’m a huge fan of the G string.

Since you like carbon strings, try Knobloch carbons. They are so much richer in sound and volume compared to Alliance.

Testing strings for years. But now i use the Augustine gold. The bass strings are wonderful and a little bit different to ther strings. Orderd 5 sets a few days ago. Maybe i costs many more next week because of inflation....

Have you ever tried the wound g-string that Savarez makes? They are trippy!

I prefer extra hard tension. D'addarios are good for the price.

I use the same pro arte normal/mid tension on all of my vintage 40s 50s and 60s classical's...I bought a few packs of high tension for my higher end modern more sturdy (not snap the bridge off the vintage) that I haven't ran yet... any thoughts on high tension strings???

What is the difference between normal tension to low tension to medium tension??
